I hope you’re well and are looking forward to some time off over the festive period.
We recently visited Hastings and were so lucky with the weather. It was forecast to be cloudy and drizzly, but everything cleared to leave a beautiful day.
We spent some time having a coffee on the pier and also took Archie (the dog) for a long walk up on East Hill. The Old Town is beautiful with lots of little areas to explore.
Spending time by the sea reminded me of all my filming trips to the Isle of Wight over the years. The Liz Earle team have always been so welcoming, and I’ve enjoyed holidays on the island too. If you love Liz Earle skincare, look out for their final Today’s Special Value offer of the year on Saturday 18th December. You can choose between the original Cleanse & Polish, or the relaxing option which is Rose & Lavender. I can’t believe December is going so quickly!
I’m busy working behind-the-scenes at the moment, recording and editing lots of Inside QVC episodes with the podcast team. One of the more recent interviews is with kitchen expert, Simon Brown. Many of you will have been watching Simon on-air for a long time, his career is really interesting and he has a couple of fascinating hobbies too.
On Wednesday 22nd December, our Best Find of the Day will be from Luxform! It’s a dual powered wildlife Victorian style lamp post. It operates by solar or battery power, but then also has a planter, two bird feeders and a bird bath included. It’s such a great idea, very useful to have so much built into a small footprint, plus you’re attracting some fabulous wildlife to your outdoor space.
Then on Friday 24th December, we’ll be presenting the Juno Supersoft Shaggy Rug from Cozee Home. It’s made from a luxuriously plush long pile that’s thick and durable, meaning it will remain soft and bouncy to the touch. You can choose between Blush, Charcoal, Duck Egg, Ivory, Natural, or Silver Grey.

Oh I fancy the new Luxform lamp/bird feeder, I’ll look out for that offer when it airs. Looks like you had a nice day out in Hastings, lovely place. I liked your clip of the sun set and waves. During the past 18 months I’ve had a few moments of heightened anxiety, more than a few TBH. I’ve discovered that listening to the sounds of waves either on my phone or YouTube on the TV really helps with my breathing. I find a clip with slow rolling waves close my eyes and breathe in rhythm to the sounds. It helps slow down my breath and calms me down, plus it’s cheaper than therapy!! Have a lovely Christmas break with your partner and baby Archie, hope Father Christmas brings lots of goodies xx
Beautiful photos Will .
