Hi! Well, off the back of a wonderful week of sunshine and, having cleared the decks with our summer sale, we have a very special event coming up for you on Monday 27th June called ‘Only At QVC’.

Dannii Minogue wearing jeans and a yellow top

Throughout the day we are going to be featuring brands and products that you are not able to find anywhere else such as fashion by Dannii Minogue, items for the home from Bundleberry by Amanda Holden and K by Kelly Hoppen. You’ll also be seeing other brands such as Ahuhu, Kim & Co and Judith Williams – so lots to be looking forward to! The star of the day will be this fabulous top (pictured above) by Dannii Minogue in gorgeous colours and both petite and regular sizes.

Enjoy!

Much love,

Pipa

I am absolutely loving colour this year, aren’t you? In fashion, in the house, in the garden – everywhere, I can’t get enough of it! We ordered new sofas at the beginning of the year and they arrived a couple of weeks ago. It is actually the very first time I have ever bought brand-new sofas and we went for bright orange and deep teal, they look amazing!

Pipa with a flower cart of Bloom faux flower displays

And while I’m blown away by the colour in the garden and regularly bringing in fresh cut flowers for inside, I did my very first Bloom show last week and fell in love with some of the designs. The photos on the website really don’t do them justice, as you can see here in the photo. I’ve got the wild flower display one side (currently sold out) and the incredible red sunflowers on the other – but there are many to choose from if you look at the whole range. I’m wearing Marla Wynne turtle neck top,  which surprisingly has only one review which gives it just one star, but I love it. The trousers are Kim & Co wide leg in hot pink, available in petite and regular, and the trainers are from Rieker.

Finally, we have more coming from Kim & Co with a new Today’s Special Value on Thursday this week: the very popular harem trousers in all sorts of colours, which I will be launching on Wednesday evening, so hopefully see you there.

Much love as always,

Pipa x

I’ve always said I’m not a dress person, certainly not a skirt wearer! However, two summers ago, I bought a summer dress, more of a beach type dress, but still, it cracked the surface and slowly I began to turn.

If you follow me on Instagram, you might know that just before going away at Easter, I found an amazing linen dress, with a hood and pockets! Obviously, it was love at first sight and I snapped it up. Since then, I’ve been finding myself a little more comfortable with the idea of wearing dresses. The great thing with QVC is that there is something for everyone. I hosted ‘The Dress Shop‘ over the weekend and have another one coming up this week, which will be featuring the Monsoon TSV – a dress that I honestly didn’t want to take off after trying on.

So, if you’re stuck in a style rut or, like me, have always been a trouser gal, we’ve got some particularly gorgeous dresses this year. I still can’t really do mid-length, so if you’re like me, perhaps try the maxi instead?

Much love,

Pipa x

We are so looking forward to the Jubilee weekend! I’m at home for the first two days where we are going to catch up with friends and family, and then I will be at QVC on Saturday and Sunday.

We have loads going on across the entire four days, great TSVs including this gorgeous top from Ruth Langsford and this Innovators double cocoon chair, each of them will be on five Easy Pays and we also have a voucher code to make everything else on four.

Click here to take a look at all the special offers in store, and I hope you can join us for some of the festivities as you weave it in with your own.

It really doesn’t seem that long ago that we celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee does it? I hope you have a great weekend, whatever you will be up to.

Much love and cheers!

It’s usually beginnings and endings isn’t it? Not today! I have just waved Myles off to school for the very last time, other than sitting his A Levels, that is now it. I remember back when he first started school and I wondered how on earth with all the late shifts etc I would manage to get him to school every morning at 8.30. At the end of his first half term, I congratulated myself as I walked back through the playground for a job well done – and then the realisation of another 15 years of school routine hit me! I still have one year to go with Beely but today seems significant.

Pipa hugging her son

I’m so proud of who Myles has become during his school years, he’s a caring and confident young man now and I’m so looking forward to seeing him live through this next chapter. He’s going to take a year out and then head off to university to study International Development with French. Exciting times and a new beginning ahead!

Pipa being interviewed in her dressing room

The endings don’t stop though do they? We are talking a lot about menopause now – thankfully! And with that comes a whole host of awareness that helps us embrace ‘the change’ as it was elusively referred to in the past. It is a change though and a pretty rough one at times! We are doing loads on QVC this year so keep your eyes open for new shows coming your way. This picture is of me being interviewed earlier this week about my menopause journey, which started in my early 40s. That’s the other thing we now know, it starts way earlier than we ever realised.

Health & Her products

We are also bringing in more products to help with the hormonal transition. I have found HRT and testosterone to be life-changing and whether or not we are on medication, changes to our diet and some of our habits are also crucial to supporting ourselves during these years. We have a range called ‘Health and Her’ launching this week, which contains supplements and a beautiful sleep balm – don’t get me started on how my sleep has changed, HRT doesn’t help a huge amount with that so I’ve always got my eyes open for additional options!

The other thing that I’ve found therapeutic of late is my garden – I never thought I’d be one to say that either so it just goes to show, never say never: anything could happen!

Have a great weekend

Love as always

Ooh, I feel all refreshed and invigorated after a wonderful break over Easter. We went to visit friends in Cairo and took in as much of the ancient culture as we possibly could in 7 days. The city itself is an assault on all the senses, officially one of the world’s megacities it has a population of 21,750,000. To put that into perspective, London has 9,541,000. We had an incredible time seeing the pyramids (inside and out), visiting museums, seeing Tutankhamen’s tomb, various mummified kings and queens, ancient artefacts etc, it was a wonderful experience. I put a couple of reels on my Instagram if you want a taste of our time there.

Pipa and her family on the Nile

From the crazy souks of Cairo to the peace of watching the sunset while sailing up the Nile on a Felucca, we experienced it all. We then went out into the desert for a couple of days where we visited more ancient sights, did some hair-raising off-roading, sandboarded down dunes and even camped under the stars. You know me, I love camping so I jumped at this. We were far out in the middle of the desert with nothing but sand and desert wolves, under a full moon too! (No, not even a portaloo.)

A group of people having a picnic in the desert

I’m sure you can imagine that by the time we came back to England, I was ready for a deep clean! It took a few goes to feel squeaky again but thanks to QVC I have lots of products to play with.

L'Occitane collection

Speaking of which, we have a wonderful TSV coming from L’Occitane this weekend. It has the all-important hand wash, plus refill, the beautiful shower oil and hand cream to match – which I am using in spades now that the weather has picked up and I’m outside getting the garden in order.

In the meantime, I hope you are keeping well and equally glad to see the signs of summer finally appearing.

Love as always

Don’t worry, that’s the extent of my French for today! How are you? I was so excited when I received these pans to try and blog about. 🙂 I love a bit of Le Creuset and have various bits dotted around the kitchen. I think a saute pan is the absolute life saver of all pans, particularly for busy families. You can do anything from a fry up to a huge chilli/bolognaise, and no doubt we will have loads of other ideas to inspire you with throughout the day as it’s a Today’s Special Value on Wednesday this week along, with a fab little frying pan. I cooked a chicken Pad Thai in it last night…

…and it was super easy to clean! In fact, it was left on the stove accidentally after the kids finished cleaning up as they thought it was already done – how about that?! I’m hosting a very exciting family reunion later this week and am deciding on what to cook. I’m thinking of a warm beef salad, or Nigel Slater’s marmalade chicken. It needs to be quick as I’m short on time, but I want it to be lovely. I haven’t seen my aunt and cousin in nearly 40 years and recently we got back in touch so I want them to feel loved and welcome, but I don’t want to be slaving over the stove – there’s MUCH to catch up on!

Anyhoo, I hope you’re well and look forward to catching up with you too either here, on air, or somewhere in the ether! By the way, the pink jumper is Phase Eight.

Much love,

Pipa x

Morning! The morning after a Today’s Special Value launch is always a slow one, I’m not a night owl and even back in the days when I used to sing, I’ve always struggled with going to bed late. Saying that, this morning’s sunshine was a joy to wake up to! I even managed to sit outside with my coffee and Kindle. Yes, Kindle! I know, I never thought you would hear me say that, as I’ve always been a pen and paper girl, I still use a Filofax and I still love to turn pages. However, I have stumbled upon the virtues of the Kindle, and as one of my goals for 2022 is to read one classic per month, it really helps as the app is also on my phone, which means I can pick up and read whenever I have a few minutes to spare, whereas it’s typical that the physical copy is often where I’m not when I get a few mins spare. I just finished George Orwell’s 1984 this morning. Boy, oh boy, did he get a few things right! It’s terrifying! By the way, in this picture I’m wearing the White Stuff Annie shirt, which comes in various colours, my daughters old jeans and the Vionic high-top trainers I talked about in my last blog – still loving them!

I am so looking forward to spring. I don’t know about you, but I bought a few exciting pieces during our gardening event last weekend. I’ve done loads of pruning and tidying in the garden and can’t wait to see all the plants and bulbs come to life. Although, behind me, I’ve got a hideous bramble that I fight every year to keep away from the rose. I’ve got tulips popping up everywhere in beds, and other shoots that I can’t even remember what they were, so that will be a lovely surprise too. We have decided to grow passion flower up the back of the house and so I popped them into this planter (here’s a similar one) along with a few flowers I picked up in the garden centre and some daff bulbs that I found sprouting in a plastic bag that I had forgotten about. The flowers were already out, so fingers crossed they survive!

So, a little bit more gardening for me today as my planters from the garden event have just arrived and then tomorrow I’m back in for the Laura Geller Springtime Essentials TSV, so I look forward to seeing you then. In the meantime, I hope you get kissed by some sunshine over the next few days.

Love as always,

Pipa xx

Our handbags are such personal spaces, aren’t they? I am sure we all use them the same way and yet I am certain the contents differ hugely. We have this gorgeous Radley handbag coming up as a Today’s Special Value on Monday, so I was asked to write a blog and film a “what’s inside my bag” video, which was rather amusing! I transferred all my belongings across without paying great attention and then, well, have a look…

Having trouble viewing this video? See YouTube’s Help page

I won’t ruin the answer here, but they say that on average, we carry seven lip products in our bags. ‘Seven?’ I hear you say. ‘Surely not!’ Well, go and check yours, I’d love to know how many you have. It’s a beautiful bag, the leather is super soft and we have lots of colours to choose from. I’m not one to change my bags often, I tend to have one main bag for at least 6 months, which everything gets chucked into, and this is an ideal “chuck it all in bag”, without being too big at the same time.

Brian and I went for a walk along the Malvern Hills last weekend, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, albeit a tad windy! Thankfully, I had my Badgley Mishka coat to keep me warm. Speaking of which, I must tell you about my outfit on the first picture as I’m in love with all three pieces!

The jacket is from Phase Eight, fully lined and perfect for spring. The trousers – oh my, how I love these trousers, I get comments on them all the time! They look like the most expensive leather and feel gorgeous to wear, are from Badgley Mishka but be quick if you want the black, and the boots, again, get loads of compliments, are from Vionic. Interestingly they have two two star reviews saying they are uncomfortable, but I have to say, I have lived in mine since I got them and love them. It is important to note, you need to go up a whole size though, as they are a tad narrow. As long as you do that, I am sure they really will become favourites for you too.

One other thing to mention is the L’Occitane TSV coming toward the end of the week. It’s perfect for those of you who want to try their top selling Immortelle regime and is highly rated online.

That’s it from me this week, take care, stay safe and much love to all.

Hi! With spring around the corner and having the last two years behind us, we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to have a reset, starting with style! Join us for this fun two day event where we will be sharing lots of behind the scenes action, as well as style tips and inspiration from the stylists, brands and guests that you love. One of the things I’m trying to do by way of resetting my style this year is to wear less black – let’s see how that goes!

So, we kick off the event on Sunday evening at 9pm with a TSV from Skechers. We have a super comfy slip-on shoe with all of that wonderful technology beneath our feet that will bounce you through your day whether you are at home, work or somewhere in between.

And then MarlaWynne brings us a fantastic bold statement piece on Tuesday, which will be the perfect replacement for coats and cardigans as the sun begins to shine – and boy after Eunice, on top of everything else, I think we deserve a good bout of sunshine!

So I hope you enjoy the shows that we have ahead for you.

Much love,

Pipa x
