Spring is such a brilliant time and excuse to give our homes a mini-makeover. For me it’s a lot about de-cluttering and streamlining the fullness that winter can bring, especially when it comes to all those extra bits we seem to gather over Christmas time.

Looking down into the My Home Stories coffee table

I like to swap furniture about and look at how using pieces that add space and serve a function is a win-win! Shelving, coffee tables and side counters that use slimmer frames and materials such as wood, glass and iron, that allow light to flow through the design, can be a game changer.

816657 - My Home Stories shelving unit

A great example of this is with both the coffee table and shelving unit from My Home Stories. They both look minimal and sleek and are very useful for storing books, plants and ornaments. In fact, I think they work really well if, like us, you have children and need a place to store extra arts and crafts, games, books, and all those little toys that seem to be everywhere!

Finding storage solutions that look good enough to have on display is important to me, especially as we do have a lot of things we use with the children in the day but, come night, we like to pack away to regain our space and have our evening time.

Set of three BundleBerry by Amanda Holden Velvet Touch storage trunks in Navy (709765)

One of my all-time favourites is this set of three Velvet Touch trunks from BundleBerry by Amanda Holden. I love how well made they are but, more than anything, the velvet touch finish; also, their nod to that classic vintage style is gorgeous and they’re so versatile. I’d go for dark blue for our bedroom as we have blue feature walls.

They make perfect storage for handbags, scarves, big jumpers and books (if you don’t have shelves in your room). I’d also say they are perfect for children’s rooms as they can double up as little seats if the kids want but, of course, are ideal for storing toys, linen and all those clothes that you can’t bear to part with.

Bright and floral Cozee Home bedding

When it comes to bedding, I’m a huge Cozee Home fan. The quality is second to none and you always know it will look and feel great. I’m moving from my dark, jewel-coloured bedding of the winter months to those beautiful soft florals. Think sky blues, pastel pinks, sunshine yellows and warm whites with prints of spring-fresh florals.

My Home Stories rug (816674)

I always say that the bed, and its bedding, are the biggest swathes of colour in your bedroom, so it makes a huge impact. You don’t have to redecorate the room to make a big change; by simply changing and coordinating your bedding and adding a light-toned rug – like this little number from My Home Stories – you’ll have a much more affordable way to feel the change.

Happy spring and best wishes,

Eilidh xx

Hello and I hope that you are all keeping well. I don’t know about you, but this year feels wintery and more Christmassy much sooner than others. We will be putting our tree up around November 20th and getting our decorations up nice and early this year.

At QVC, we have been getting in the festive groove for quite a while with our Christmas trees, fabulous decorations and lighting, and not forgetting our amazing food selections with Andi Peters and Dale, I love watching their shows.

This week is particularly exciting, as we have some incredible offers on, and if you love fashion and beauty then you really are in for a treat. This will also be my last blog for a while, as this week I will head off on maternity leave until next year. You can always stay in touch with me on @eilidhnairnTV on my Instagram.

Let’s start with beauty and more specifically the brand new Elemis Today’s Special Value, which is now available on this pre-launch link – Elemis Pro Collagen Face & Body 8 piece Collection. The launch will be 9pm on Sunday 14th November.

They have put together a collection filled to the brim with luxury, hero products, all stored in a beautiful velvet bag. You get to choose your fragrance between Frangipani Monoi/ Lime & Ginger/ Skin Nourishing, but the products remain the same. Here’s what you get in each.

  • 1 x Pro-Collagen Energising Marine Cleanser (75ml)
  • 1 x Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (50g)
  • 1 x Soothing Apricot Toner (200ml)
  • 1 x Pro-Collagen Marine Cream (30ml)
  • 1 x Pro-Collagen Marine Oil (5ml)
  • 1 x Lime & Ginger/ Frangipani Monoi/Skin Nourishing Velvet Body Butter (100ml)
  • 1 x Lime & Ginger/Frangipani Monoi/Skin Nourishing Bath & Shower Milk (300ml)
  • 1 x Lime & Ginger/ Frangipani Monoi/Skin Nourishing Hand & Nail Balm (20ml)
  • 1 x green/red/blue velvet vanity bag

This is by all means a fantastic collection and when I tell you the value you’ll be amazed. If you were to put this collection together yourself via QVC, you’d pay £193 + P&P. The Today’s Special Value price is only £54.96 + P&P and on three Easy Pays of just £13.74 + P&P, should you wish to spread the cost. You are making a huge saving of £138.04.

This could be someone very special’s Christmas present or a gift to yourself for all your hard work this year. I’d be quick though, as they are flying out the door! I’m in love with the Lime & Ginger fragrance and absolutely love how soft and velvety the cream feels, so luxurious and nourishing. After applying in the morning I could still smell it on my skin in the late afternoon.

Next on my list of great offers is from Easilocks.

This will be the new Today’s Special Value running on Wednesday November 10th, item number 722237, Easilocks set of 2 HD Fibre Scrunchies. This is an award-winning, family-run company who specialise in hair pieces and wigs of a very high standard. The 13 colour choices they offer are superb and the feel and texture (although not real) feels life-like and behaves as real hair would. You can treat the hair pieces as you would real hair too by washing, drying and using tools to curl or straighten.

As many of you know, I love hair and playing with different styles so was delighted to try the scrunchie. It’s so easy to use and in these pictures I simply put up my own hair in a ponytail and coiled my hair around the band, looped the scrunchie over my own bun and pinned it in place and voila, a nice full luscious top do. What I love is the fact the colour match is so like my own hair and because I have a balyage, it means that ordinarily finding an exact colour match could be tricky.

Easilocks have got a fab range of colours, which I’d recommend checking on the website to find the one that suits you best. This is an instant look changer and can really give you confidence especially if you have thinner or finer hair.

Here are the details:

What’s in the box?

  • 1 x wavy fibre hair scrunchie
  • 1 x straight fibre hair scrunchie

If you were to buy this set individually from QVCUK.com you’d pay £26, plus P&P. So for our TSV price of just £19.98, plus P&P, you’re saving £6.02.

To round up my top finds this week, I had to include the stunning and beautifully made Helene Berman faux fur hooded coat with zip, which is one of the many Big Deals that we have currently running at the moment.

You will love how immediately elegant and stylish you feel in this. The coat offers style, warmth and an edginess that translates across lots of different personal styles. It comes in Khaki (the one I’m wearing) Petrol, Ivory, Black and Navy. There’s a nice drop in the price from £122 to £92.94 + P&P or three Easy Pays of £30.98 plus P&P. Remember with the Big Deals that they are only around for a limited time only.

In fact, you can see pictures of it and a little video that presenter stylist Stine and I made recently. We were focusing on maternity wear and how you can wear clothes from non-maternity ranges too. Here’s the link to Stine’s edit.

I mentioned at the top of the blog that this would be my last blog for awhile, as I’ll be heading off this week on maternity leave until next year. So I wanted to share some family pictures of our recent Christmas pudding making. It was such a lovely afternoon with the family, which include Grandma Seaside (Beau’s name for Elliot’s mum) Elliot, Beau, Joel, Errol, Adele, myself and of course, the bump!

We played Christmas music and set up the pudding making station in the dining room. Everyone had a little job either chopping fruit, nuts or weighing sugar and flour. Beau loved being able to stir the pudding with his big brothers. Just think this time next year, there will be another set of little hands to join in the fun.

I’ve been so busy lately nesting and getting the new baby things organised. I’d kept lots of Beau’s first clothes so they have all been washed and of course, I couldn’t help buying more tiny little mittens and cardigans. With only about 3 weeks to go (give or take) we are  feeling very excited!

I will be sure to send in photos to QVC and share on my Instagram too.

Please do stay in touch, I will miss you all and look forward to hearing from you over the next months.

Lots of love

Eilidh and the bump xx

Hello to you all. I hope you are all keeping well and beginning to enjoy autumn/winter. I love seeing all the leaves turn golden and as the nights draw in, it’s the perfect excuse to light the fire and drink hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows.

The weeks seem to be flying by now and as I write this, I am heading towards my 34th week of pregnancy and you can certainly see this in the photos below, taken by our wonderful presenter stylist Stine Wintlev. We both share a love of fashion and always have fun playing with ideas and clothes. This time we dressed the bump for winter and with a focus on the new Skechers Today’s Special Value coming on Saturday 23rd October (launching on Friday 22nd at 9pm.)

Lets start with that. You may have noticed in fashion footwear that the hiker boot style is really popular and is often seen teamed up with lots of different outfits from jeans, leggings with oversized knits and shirts to full dresses with a nod to the prairie vibe seen frequently by the high-end designers. So you know when a huge brand like Skechers decide to design a hiker boot that its going to be done well and to a very high standard.

We are calling this the Trego Alpine Trail Waterproof Boot.

The details:

  • Launching: 22nd October 9pm
  • Item number: 190479
  • Colours: Black, Navy, Chocolate, Tan and Natural
  • Sizes: check the website for updates www.qvcuk.com
  • Heel height: 1.3“

Material: full water-resistant technology up to the lace opening, full suede upper with a synthetic toe and heel, anti-slip technology under wet and dry conditions and Air-Cooled memory foam and shock absorbing midsoles.

Its safe to say that this boot is going to be a great choice for those of you who like to take the dogs out, go for a ramble in the park or countryside and of course, as a fashion boot. I should also add that from wearing the boot that’s its both immediately comfortable and so lightweight. We offer you the standard 60 Day Money-Back Guarantee, which has now been extended until January 31st if it’s a gift, so you can really road test them and decide if they’re right for you or the person you’ve gifted it too.

In these photos, we’ve teamed it up with various pieces from some of my favourite designers at QVC. I’ve listed the outfits with links below. Some are even on a clearance price!

You will also notice a rather lovely Radley bag in my hand. This will be another upcoming Today’s Special Value on Monday 25th October. Item number 191297. Its such a beautiful bag and comes in two stories of croc and plain finish and five different colours, plus its been made just for our QVC customers.

Outfit 1:

Outfit 2:

I think its always worth checking our Big Deals link too, as we frequently have excellent fashion deals . I love the current Centigrade faux fur coat. I have it in Forest Green and wear it all the time! Happy shopping on all of these and remember fashion is about making yourself feel good and above all, have fun!

In other news with me, and non-fashion related, is what we’ve grown our garden.

We have been so surprised to see a pumpkin grow in the last weeks. As you can see its pretty big and just in time for Halloween! I must admit that full credit must be given to Elliot for the growing, as he planted it and did the main care.

I’m not sure what to make from it yet? If anyone has any ideas, please message me. I was thinking something spicy.

We have also been busy making jam from the fallen crab apples in our garden. There were hundreds so we thought lets make some jam.

Just before I go and do the mountain of washing that’s staring at me right now, I’d like to share with you our new app and QVC WhatsApp QR code (which is on screen throughout the shows). You can click on the above link where it says QR code and it’ll take you to the page. It’s a great way to share your thoughts and ask questions too. At QVC we really value your thoughts and opinions and always leave all your reviews in for others to see.

After all, you, our loyal ladies and gents, have been with us all on a journey of discovery with new brands and products and we feel this makes you the experts too. With this in mind, we have a new app called Qurio. This has been designed for you to share your tips, stories and be inspired by others. I love the fact that you may even discover something you didn’t know about one of your favourite brands. Perhaps the way another person uses a beauty product or a household or fitness item. It’s a community for you to share, discover and be inspired by each other and is very easy to use. Simple click the Qurio link in this message and it’ll take you straight to the page with all the info you need, and its free to download.

Plus, at the moment Qurio are running an exciting prize draw with a chance to win a Neom Wellbeing Pod with essential oil blends along with a top of the range tripod and ring light.

How to get involved – upload a video to Qurio from 18th – 31st October to be automatically entered into the prize draw. The winner will be randomly selected. There is no limit to the amount of times you can enter.

I look forward to sharing more with you from my life at QVC and at home both here and on Instagram.

Until then take the very best of care of each other and yourselves.

Love,

Eilidh

Hello,

My blog this week is full of exciting fashion news plus a couple of pics of Beau turning the grand old age of two!

Let’s begin with our upcoming Fashion event on 5th and 6th October. You may be already familiar with the Love Your Style campaigns that we have been running. Yours truly featured in the last on with two of our fantastic fashion guests Katie Pemberton and Alex Hayden. In this one we are welcoming in and celebrating lots of new and exciting Autumn winter 2021 fashion lines from some of your favourite designers such as Ruth Langsford, Marla Wynne, Skechers and Emu. Plus, we have big news none other than one of the biggest names to come out of Britain, more specifically Wales and make huge global success as a fashion designer, Julien Macdonald has now designed a clothing range for QVC! How exciting is that?!

Get ready for his launch at 9pm with Pipa on Monday 4th October with a Jersey Military shirt (191161). His collection looks incredible and I for one am very excited about it and I think you’ll love it too. He has designed a range that allows us all to feel a bit glamorous in our everyday world. So, whether you are going to the office, working from home and meeting up with friends for a dinner or drinks in the evening or perhaps you’re like me and dashing around all day and need to be in comfortable but stylish attire Julien has thought of us all.

To give you a bit of an idea of what you can expect, he has designed some fabulous jackets that have a military feel to them. He calls this one the Jersey Drummer Jacket. I’ve always loved this style and think it works so well over a simple T-shirt and leggings or jeans right through to a more dressed up evening look.

Speaking of leggings, he has also designed some excellent faux leather and Ponte leggings which are a wardrobe must have. Long boots like our current Big Deal (always worth checking this link for lots of great deals) and big jumpers look so stylish with the right leggings. He has also added in his signature touch of glamour which many of you will know from his JM by Julian MacDonald collection at QVC.

His chiffon over lay tops will be perfect for those hosting at home evenings and look out for the sequin front top with cuff detail. Having worked with Julian several times and knowing how lovely and down to earth he is and how passionate he is about making women feel fabulous all day I think his range with be adored by all.

The goodies keep on coming as On Oct 5th at 9pm Moda in Pelle launch their Chalott Leather Hiking Boot item nr 190524 which has been designed just for you at QVC. This boot is so, so cool and ticks all the boxes in my opinion when it comes to the perfect all-weather A/W boot. Its buttery soft leather means that you can start wearing it with comfort from the moment you rip open the box.

Each boot is topped with a soft trim for extra comfort and of the boot comes with the hiker boot style eyelets and lace up front. But just as you might start to think “laces on winter boots, can I be bothered?”, Moda have added a convenient zip on the inside making this the job very quick and easy. The boot itself is light weight yet sturdy so great for walks with the family and dogs as well as easy to style.

The details:

  • Heel height: 2.4″
  • Outer: leather
  • Colour options: Black, Grey, Tan, Cream, Purple
  • Sizes check web for current updates here: Moda in Pelle.

I’ve worn mine (Black) nonstop. They are so comfortable and can be worn with so many things. In these pics I’ve gone for a boho look with my Helene Berman  dress. I’ve also worn them with jeans and sweatshirts and leggings and oversized shirts, I like the extra bit of height the heel gives me plus, I can still easily run after Beau as they are light weight.

Talking of the little fella, he turned the grand old age of two last week. It felt like quite a mile stone and was wonderful to see him with his friends we’d invited from his nursery.

He was, as you can imagine, spoilt rotten by us and his brothers and grandma. Here is a little snap shot of the day.

One last thing to mention before I dash, is over the two-day event, you will be treated to our experts who are on hand to offer fashion tips and advice so please do get in touch throughout the shows via the QVC WhatsApp QR code (on screen throughout the shows).

You can click on the above link where it says QR code, and it’ll take you to the page at qvcuk.com. it’s a great way to share your thoughts and ask questions too. At QVC we really value your thoughts and opinions and always leave all your reviews in for others to see. After all you, our loyal ladies and gents have been with us all on a journey of discovery with new brands and products and we feel this makes you the expert too.

With this in mind we have a new App called Qurio, this has been designed for you to share your tips, stories and be inspired by others. I love the fact that you may even discover something you didn’t know about one of your favourite brands; perhaps the way another person uses a beauty product or a household or fitness item. Simply click the Qurio link above and it’ll take you straight to the page with all the info you need and its free to download.

I look forward to sharing more with you from my life at QVC and at home both here and on Instagram.

Until then take the very best of care of each other and yourselves.

Love,

Hello and thanks for stopping by to read my blog. This week, I’m focusing on the upcoming weekend September 17th, as there are three very exciting things happening. First of all, it’s Beau’s 2nd birthday on Sunday 19th, so a big day in our lives. Also this weekend at QVC, we have a fantastic launch of Ruth Langsford’s Intarsia Heart design jumper and an incredible four-piece Anti-Ageing Radiant Skin Collection from Elemis. I know how much both of these will be loved by so many of you, myself included.

Skincare has become an important part of my daily routine, not only as I make my way towards my mid 40’s – gulp! How did that happen? But also because of being pregnant and my skin fluctuating much more and, I dare say, showing the signs of ageing a bit more too. So I was delighted when professional skincare expert, head trainer at Elemis and Brand Ambassador, Keeley Aydin, asked if I’d like to join her on her regular Wednesday evening skin care session on Instagram live to talk specifically about skincare in pregnancy. Many of you have asked me about this over time, and now I can report back on what I use.

I am very fortunate in the work I do that I am asked  to sample various products and then speak about them, and for some time now Elemis, Liz Earle and Gatineau have become my staples. During pregnancy, it’s really important to me that I use skincare that is suitable in pregnancy. Keeley and I spoke a lot about how to care for the skin and bring back the glow. Contrary to popular belief, being pregnant doesn’t always give you a glow and this time round my skin has appeared duller and more marked than before. I’ve drawn up a little list of the items I regularly use, and if this subject interests you, then I would recommend taking a look at the chat we had here. After all, it’s not everyday you get the opportunity to speak with such a highly respected and regarded expert.

My skincare:

Elemis Pro-Collagen Overnight Matrix

Elemis Pro-Collagen Renewal Serum

Elemis six-piece Pro-Collagen Rose Nourish & Glow collection

Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Pads Duo

Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Oil Duo

Gatineau Supersize DefiLift Neck and Decollete Gel

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Collection

Are you in need of a skin boost and upping your skincare? Does having a fuss-free skincare regime from day to night appeal to you? And are you entering the anti-ageing skincare group of people? Welcome aboard. I’ve been here a while and I find having a good and easy routine can make a huge difference to your skin and how you feel about your appearance, plus, make-up sits so much better on well cared-for skin.

This weekend at QVC we will be celebrating our fabulous brands with the beauty event running from September 17th – 20th. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on your favourites and be inspired with great gifting ideas too at great prices.

Here are the details for the brand new Today’s Special Value, which is already on pre-sale now here and will launch at 9pm on Saturday 18th September. It’s a HUGE saving: If  you were to buy the items in this Elemis Pro-Collagen Collection individually from QVCUK.com you’d pay £236.90, plus P&P. So for our Today’s Special Value price of just £67.98, plus P&P, you’re saving £171.92!

This four-piece Anti-Ageing Radiant Skin Collection from Elemis features super-sized Pro-Collagen Marine Mask, Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream, Pro-Collagen Tri-Acid Peel and Pro-Collagen Marine Oil, all formulated to target visible signs of ageing and leave the complexion looking smoother, softer and luminous. Reveal younger looking skin with the help of this fabulous collection, which will take your skincare regimen to a new level and slot neatly into your daily routine to help give you a radiant complexion.

Pro-Collagen is one of the signature collections of the Elemis brand, and features treatments specifically formulated to help target visible signs of ageing, helping to create a supple, moisturised and revitalised look.

This is the first time ever in a Today’s Special Value they have bought the Pro-Collagen Marine Mask in a supersize, which lets you enjoy the benefits of deep hydration and a dewy, luminous skin finish for longer. Boasting an indulgent cream formula packed with antioxidant-rich ingredients, you’ll unveil a firmer, more-toned appearance again and again, without the need to stock up for weeks.

This is a day-to-night anti-ageing treatment collection too, so your skin can stay looking smooth and soft, round the clock. Pro-Collagen Tri-Acid Peel works to lift away dull and dead skin cells for a smoother, luminous look in the day, while Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream intensely hydrates and targets the look of fine lines overnight. Meanwhile, the versatile Pro-Collagen Marine Oil can be used both morning and evening to plump your skin and leave it looking luminous.

Make your new regime last and stay stocked up on your favourite skincare by selecting the Auto Delivery option, which will give you the same fabulous products at the same amazing price, without the gift box, five times more over the next year – what’s more, on the fifth time, you’ll receive a full size 50ml Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream, making it even better.

Now, if we go back one day to Friday evening at 9pm, Ruth Langford will be launching her fabulous also now available on this pre-launch link.

I have a feeling this is going to be incredibly popular as well, especially at that price! I have the black one and love that the heart design is woven into the jumper. The neckline is very flattering, as is the length. I think it’s smart enough to look great under a blazer and has got that cool, classy look to work well with your faux leather trousers or pencil skirts.

Colour options:

  • Sunset
  • Latte
  • Black
  • Cobalt
  • Magenta

And it comes in sizes XS – 3XL!

I will be joining Ruth on Saturday 18th from 3pm – 5pm, so please tune in if you can. I love that Ruth’s designs can gives us all the confidence to wear clothes that make us feel great and you can be rest assured her clothes are always made to a very high quality. More good news is that you can use the code BIG3EZ on her Today’s Special Value.

Finally, but by no means least, our little boy turns two-years-old on Sunday, I can’t believe it! He is a proper toddler now and runs about, climbs on everything and speaks and sings. His two new words are “absolutely” and “definitely”, which sound very cute when he says them. On Sunday we have planned a little party with some of his friends and family. We are very excited to see his little face open his presents, especially as one of them is a little playhouse that he has seen in a shop already and loved it.

In my next blog I will share some photos of the afternoon. 🙂

Until then, take care of yourselves and I look forward to hearing from you too.

Love Eilidh

Hello, I hope you are all well and managing to enjoy this late summer sunshine. It’s a welcome surprise and much-needed. In my blog this week, I am keen to share with you some interior inspiration from the QVC brand, My Home Stories, and how I’ve styled the pieces in our house.

I’ve always loved interiors and building a theme for a room. I think my love of fashion and styling plays a big part in this and the two often go hand-in-hand. In our home, we have quite an eclectic mix of styles and each room has a different feel, as you’ll be able to see in the following photos. Both myself and Elliot love the Art Deco period and mid-century modern, and then mixing our own pieces in between to personalise it. In our house we have chosen to be bold with the colour of the walls and wallpaper, its been a lot of fun and some risk-taking too!

At QVC, we have some fantastic designers such as Alison Cork, Culinary Concepts, Amanda Holden’s Bundleberry collection, K by Kelly Hoppen, JM by Julien MacDonald and then the new range My Home Stories. I am focusing on My Home Stories in this blog, but you will see other pieces in the photos that will be hyperlinked, so its nice and easy to click on the name and be taken right to the QVC page. The range is new and you can only buy it here at QVC. To me, the furniture has a modern style with an Art Deco influence, with velvet upholstery and gold toned tipped legs on both the chair and matching foot stool.

The velvet arm chair has a wonderful soft curved fan or oyster-style back and smooth rounded arms. Its beautifully made and sturdy too. It comes in a choice of Charcoal, Emerald Green, Pink, Spiced Orange and Teal. I’ve styled the Spiced Orange. It was so easy to find a place and I moved it around the house to try the chair in different rooms to show you.

In the first picture, I’ve put it in our dining room bay window and in one of the alcoves. We have very bold colours in this room and wallpaper with orange fish and teal ferns, so the Spiced Orange was a perfect match. We wanted this room to feel like you would be taken on a journey and escape, if you like. Its filled with fun pieces from a neon cactus, a sparkly skull, a silver pineapple and then tonnes of random framed pictures on one wall. We love this room and having the chair in it suddenly made the room feel complete and much more accessible as a place to relax and not just eat. It works so well as a reading chair and, as you can see in this photo, I love nothing better than to sit down and read the Oxford English dictionary after a long hard day at work, he-he.

Next, I moved upstairs to see what it would look like in our bedroom. We have two blue feature walls and have opted for a minimal look. It was important to us to keep our bedroom clutter-free. Again, I love the contrasting colours of the orange against the deep blue. I’ve also added the faux succulents in ceramic mosaic that come from the same range. This look is very fashionable at the moment and the fact that they are faux means easy up-keep! I really like the variation between the plants and the pots are very well made. The price is exceptionally good too.

The faux succulents make a great addition to styling and can be subtly in the background to add personality to your decor, or you can make them much more of a feature, as I’ve done in the following photos.

I also put them in our bathroom and loved how effectively they filled some of the dead spaces such as the windowsill and along the shower floor. They gave the room a sense of life too.

I should add that everything comes so well-packed and the plants themselves are very life-like and extremely well made.

Finally, I’ve added another couple of shots to show how I’ve used my Auraglow rope lights. I’ve always liked the look of small lights coiled in a glass lantern or vessel and for me this adds a lovely warm glow in our living room, which is again a bold colour.

We painted the whole room in dark forest green. I often feel this needs to be illuminated more and needs more light, which is why the K by Kelly Hoppen mirror works so well. It’s a big bold statement mirror but doesn’t overwhelm the space. Its sunray spokes maintain a lightness, and of course, the mirror acts as a great light reflector.

Some of the other pieces you may have noticed in the photos are:

Lights

Candles

I hope you’ve enjoyed having a little tour of some of our rooms and maybe have even been a little inspired too. Please feel free to drop me a line here if you’ve got any questions about the pieces. I think QVC offer a very comprehensive and well-chosen selection of homeware and decor, and is one of my favourite places to look for new furnishings in the house.

I often have little updates on my Instagram account and you can also contact me there @eilidhnairnTV or through the QVC Whattsapp QR code (on screen throughout the shows). You can click on the above link where it says QR code and it’ll take you to the page at www.qvcuk.com. I love hearing from you all.

Until then take the very best of care of each other and yourselves.

Love,

Eilidh xx

It’s that time again for the August Bank Holiday event! I love our event weekends as they are always packed full of fun shows, great experts and plenty of goodies to pick up not to mention a few nice deals.

The event runs from Friday 27th – Monday 30th August. To give you an idea of what shows you can expect we have all bases covered. On Friday you can expect lots of great fashion from major names like Moda in Pelle, Joules and Kim & Co plus our Fashion on Friday show at 5pm with Kathryn Goldsmith. If you’ve never tried one of Kim’s jumpsuits then check out her Jersey short sleeve jumpsuits  it comes in 16 different colours including block colours and prints and has over 80 5-star reviews! I have about five of these and have owned them for years. They are so flattering and always look great. If you love shoes, then tune in at 7pm for my Rieker footwear show. Rieker are all about excellent quality and diverse shoes to suit every occasion. Especially good for those who like to stride out in style.

We also have some wonderful food and cooking shows including the Todays Special Value on the Friday from Le Creuset. A set of three Toughened non-stick cookware set with pan protectors Item number 813015.

Cooking is a big part of our life at home as you can imagine, and I must say that the best cooking equipment I’ve ever bought is from QVC. I love my KitchenAid appliances and Lock & Lock storage containers plus the Kuhn Rikon  knives are seriously good.

Recently I made one of my favourite chicken, leek and bacon pie served with new potatoes and green beans. What surprises me about this photo is the fact we have the wood-burning stove on in July?!

For desert that day we ate chocolate cake made by myself and my little helper. I must admit a lot of that topping made it into our mouths and not the cake.

Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th August are packed full of gardening and home appliance shows. With big names such as Shark (Cordless vacuum – Saturday’s Todays Special Value 719866) Julien MacDonald with the ever popular Lotus flower candle holders. Alison Cork too with her stunning design and interior inspirations. You have to be quick though for her velvet storage stools coming in around five different colours and 60 5-star reviews!

I am especially excited about my shows with gardening expert Mark Lane. I have two, two-hour long shows at 9am on Sunday 29th and 10am on Monday 30th with Mark. If you haven’t had a chance to watch any of his shows, I highly recommend it. Mark has been on the gardening scene for many years and has gained recognition as first class landscape gardener and as one of the BBC’s gardening presenters. I love working with him as he brings gardening to life in a way that we can all understand, whether you are a bit of a novice like me or a well-seasoned expert. Throughout the shows look out for our other regular names such as Richard Jackson with his Root Booster and Flower Power, and The Grumpy Gardener‘s multi-functional 3-in-1 garden tool will be on too.

At home we love to garden as much as possible and involve Beau. Here are a few pics from our garden where we’ve been growing tomatoes, strawberries and mint. We call Beau the garden pixie as he goes in and munches all the strawberries before anyone else gets a look in! Its great fun to potter together and if you ask him what flowers we have he will proudly say Holly Hock, Dahlias and Lupins.

I really hope you can join me over the event and please always feel free to contact me during the shows. We love to hear your favourite buys and see pics of your gardens in bloom.

You can contact me on Twitter @eilidhnairnTV or through the QVC WhatsApp QR code (on screen throughout the shows). You can click on the above link where it says QR code, and it’ll take

you to the page at www.qvcuk.com I love hearing from you all.

Until then take the very best of care of each other and yourselves.

Hello and as always thanks for taking the time to read my blog. I feel like there is lots to share this week, both personally and at QVC. I’ve got two really super and very different Today’s Special Value launches, this Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th August. Keep reading to find out how we conquered Beau’s fear of both fans and heaters! There’s a bit about fashion in my blog and official family news from the Nairn Russo household.

Let’s start with that one. For those who may not have tuned in or seen any of my shows over the last few weeks, I have made a big announcement, we are expecting another baby! I am already 5 months pregnant and the bump is very much out there. The due date is December 6th, which is so very exciting. I really can’t wait. To think my little baby Beau (who is nearly two years old) will be a big brother! I remember so clearly how wonderful it was to share the pregnancy updates with you all and I feel very much like you have been part of my journey as a new parent, so I look forward to sharing this new journey with you too. I frequently put up photos of myself and Beau and now bump on @eilidhnairnTV if you fancy having a look there. Beau is so taken by the bump and loves to say “good morning” to it everyday, give it a kiss and often wants to lay his head on the bump as he’s drifting off to sleep and at bedtime. He is such a loving little sweetheart.

Here are some recent photos which show the bump looking very comfortable and trendy in the new TSV I mentioned at the top. I will launch this fabulous hooded cardigan from Denim & Co. at 9pm on 4th August (look out for item number 189640).

Here are all the details about it. This cardigan comes in a choice of five colours (Ecru White, Soft Blue, Soft Blush, Pale Khaki, Charcoal Grey), in a full size range from XS up to 3XL. The cardigan is a cotton mix (60% cotton, 40% acrylic) for optimum comfort and has a mid-weight fabric that makes it very breathable during the warmer season. It’s easy care and easy to wash.

I love it for many reasons, its got great structure and therefore hangs well and keeps its shape. The hood actually fits over your head – too often hoods are decorative and not practical. The colours are so easy to blend into pieces that you’ll already own such as jeans, leggings, casual vests and T-shirts and I’d even wear it over a maxi dress or long skirt.

In my pics, that were taken by Jourdan, one of out brilliant make-up artists from Makeup Junkies International, I have styled it with leggings (maternity) and a WULI:LUU by Gok Wan top. I am also wearing these incredible Clarks sandals sandals, I just adore this 70’s inspired design. They have a wonderful cushioned sole and are very lightweight.

It’s an exciting week for me, as on Thursday 5th August, I’ll be launching the Dyson AM09 Hot & Cool Quiet bladeless tower fan with timer (look out for item number 804130). The timing of this TSV couldn’t be better. I don’t know about you, but our house has rooms that feel chilly in the evening and are boiling hot in the daytime, and our upstairs can get really stuffy in this hot weather.

If you’ve never tried this style of fan, then I’d highly recommend giving it a go. It is light in weight, so easy to move from room to room and its sleek design means that you hardly notice it and its actually a rather beautiful piece of  technology.

Unlike the old traditional tall standing fans that have blades, this is bladeless and is engineered to be 75% quieter than previous models (which is great if you’ve got kids, more on that in a bit!) It has a precise control function so that you can choose between the Jet Focus control having cool or warm air, which is great if you only want it to go on one person, or you can choose the Diffused mode for when you’d like a more all-round air flow. It has 10 speed options and moves quickly between them by the touch of a button on your remote control. The touch tilt function also allows you to adjust the air flow by 10 degrees either way from upright. It has a built-in Sleep timer, which means you can set the fan to turn off after you’ve fallen asleep, both saving energy and giving you peace of mind. It’s in a cool white/grey design, with an intelligent thermostat, two year Guarantee from Dyson and your usual QVC 60 day Money-Back Guarantee. Plus, it comes with a HUGE saving!

Why was the Dyson AM09 so welcomed in our house? Well, a little while ago when we were experiencing that really hot weather, we bought one of those stand up fans and put it upstairs to cool Beau’s bedroom down before his nap time. Where is the problem, you may ask. As we walked upstairs to his room, he heard that whirring noise of the fan as the blades whizzed round and the motor powered and he absolutely hated it and was really quite scared. The poor little soul did not want the fan anywhere near the room, him or indeed the house! Naturally, we took the fan away and hid it, but the issue still remained that the house was a bit on the warm side. We worked for weeks to try gain his confidence back but the fan still remains firmly OFF!

This is when we cue the Dyson. We got him to help us unbox it and when we brought it out he just looked at it and because it looked nothing like the other fan, there was no threat. I sat with him on my knee and we turned it on and watched the digital numbers light up, but the fan barely made any noise! This was brilliant and he did not mind it at all. Success, hurray! So much so, that the next morning Beau came downstairs and said “good morning heater fan”. Have a little look on my Instagram to see that clip. He really is such a darling heart and we can now enjoy being cooled down or warmed up depending on the time of day.

I’ve added a few pics of where I’ve been using the Dyson at home. If you are free on Wednesday or Thursday at 9pm and can tune in for the launch that would be great, and please do drop me a line on Twitter @eilidhnairnTV or through the QVC Whatsapp QR code (on screen throughout the shows). You can click on this link where it says QR code and it’ll take you to the page. I love hearing from you all.

Until then take the very best of care of each other and yourselves.

Love Eilidh and the bump!

xx

Happy Christmas! Huh? I hear you. All is well and you read correctly. For those of you who don’t know, at QVC we celebrate Christmas in July, as well as the real one when Santa comes down the chimney on December 24th!

We believe that there is no time like the present (get it?) to start bringing in the Christmas cheer, beating the rush and picking up a great deal. If you’ve never joined us in July, then how about doing it this year? Our very own QVC elves work extremely hard to bring out the trees and decorate them beautifully. It’s really exciting to see how many wonderful home decorations we have and hopefully we can inspire you with our range too.

We’ll be showing you some of your favourite brands such as Homeworx by Harry Slatkin, with fabulous candle scents to set the mood of a room – I love Crackling Fire but they have so many more to choose from. There’s Hotel Chocolat too – remember that Velvetiser, and how a simple hot chocolate can be transformed into the most decedent, luxurious, creamy, warming winter treat? Look out for the special colour ways coming just for QVC. Wilfred’s Pies and luxury mince pies are a must-have when inviting guests and family over (saves time in the kitchen too!) and how about finishing off the evening dining with some delicious Godminster Cheese from Somerset. I think they add a really nice touch at the end of a meal, perhaps with a little glass of something special.

When it comes to lighting in the winter months I am a real magpie and love all things that sparkle, shine and glow, so I am rather excited to be able to give you a little heads up on a new Today’s Special Value from Luxform on July 23rd. They have designed a stunning 3D Effect LED Rotating 60cm Pyramid (look out for item number 813022). It comes in four colours; Warm White Star effect, Warm White Firefly effect, Multi Colour Star effect and Multi Colour Firefly effect. It also comes with a battery operated remote control (so no trailing wires ) and timer setting for four or six hours. Its suitable for both indoors and outdoors.

This is all about creating your own special haven with this projecting pyramid. Its has a combination of rotating LED lights and a special inner design that will create an amazing 3D effect to your home. I love the fact that you can choose between the rotating function or static. The Pyramid is ideal for all year round, whether you are enjoying the last warmth of a summer evening whilst sitting outside or cosied up inside, watching the colours of the pyramid from within your home or maybe outside in the garden.

Christmas time is always a big deal in our house and this year it will be even more so as we await the arrival of our new baby! Due the first week of December. Every year in October, we make our Christmas cakes as extra little gifts for our family and friends, with all the: boys Elliot, Joel (eldest son), Errol, Beau (currently the youngest), Adele, Joel’s girlfriend and Grandma Seaside (Elliot’s mum).

In more recent years, we started to make our own Christmas cards too with a photo of us all – the sillier the photo, the better. We couldn’t do one last year, but here is a pic of the year before. It was great fun. We completely recreated a Christmas Eve scene (in October) using an old dismantled fireplace that we dragged into our kitchen and decorated. Joel had broken his ankle that morning by dropping a radiator on it (not so funny) and Beau hadn’t a clue what was happening, as he was only a month or so old.

This is one of my favourites and hangs in our kitchen. Next year we’ll need a new hat… what name will we have I wonder…?

If you’re wondering what little foodie gifts you could give people, how about some wonderful Lambertz German gingerbread in gift bags. These are my favourite ginger bread biscuits ever! Or an advent calendar from Freixenet or The Original Cake Company.

To help you with your shopping, we are also offering a code that you apply at checkout if you’d like to split your purchase into interest-free Easy Pay instalments. ALL3Z runs from July 22nd at 9pm until 23rd at 23.59.

I hope you have fun with us this Christmas in July and look forward to having your company. I will have shows at 9pm on 23rd and midnight 24th July. I will be launching the Kitchenaid Mini Chopper, so for those who’d like to whip up their own sauces, hummus and dips for the summer, this will make those jobs so much quicker and easier. (Look out for item number 809584.)

See you then.

Love,

Eilidh

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog today. If it’s your first time reading my blogs, welcome! I usually like to write about fashion, beauty and my family life with my son Beau, my partner Elliot and our combined family.

For the past two weeks, I’ve been on holiday at home. It’s been lovely to take my foot off the gas, spend all my time with little Beau, do some gardening and enjoy trying some new fun beauty offers from Amanda Harrington, super sunless tan expert, OPI nails and Liz Earle. (These updates are also watchable on my Instagram, @eilidhnairntv.)

We have been working so hard on turning our garden from a bit of a dump into a place of beauty, fun and wildlife for us all to enjoy. When we moved in December 2020, the garden needed a lot of work and slowly we have been planting, re-turfing, pruning and nurturing it. We now see peonies growing, wild foxgloves, lupins, fuschia and lots of wild flowers, which I don’t know the names of. Beau is fascinated by bees at the moment and loves to look at the flowers and find the wild bees, of which there are tonnes. It’s so wonderful to see.

We’ve had a few firsts this week too. We went to Southbourne beach and Beau had his first ice cream. I didn’t think he’d be so interested on a windy, not so warm day, but I was wrong! He couldn’t eat my honeycomb ice cream fast enough and told me he wanted to hold it, which made me laugh. His speech is really coming along and he has lots of sentences. He is such a delight to be around. We also went out for dinner together for the first time in a year! I had booked us a table for Father’s Day. It really was a joy and fun to do this together.

This Friday 25th June, I will returning to work and what a great day to come back on. We have a new Today’s Special Value from MarlaWynne, the five-pocket, flatter fit, melange capri pant, coming in two lengths. For Petite, look for item number 189393, for Regular, look for item number 189394. They’re available in six colours: Storm Blue, Black, Sage, Cloud, Almond and Sand.

These capri trousers  are made from a stretchy fabric with textured melange detail for a more casual denim look, and feature side slits, back patch pockets, faux front pockets and a fly. Comfy, chic and flattering, this pair will take you through work days and weekends in easy style. I really wish I’d had these on my holidays as they would have been perfect those day trips.

I think they’d look great with a pair of Moda in Pelle trainers or Skechers sandals. If you already have some of Marla’s clothes, you’ll know how well they wash, wear and maintain their shape, which is exactly what we want. Tune in on Friday at 11am if you can, as I’ll have a whole hour of MarlaWynne fashion with wonderful fashion expert, Melissa Hardy.

Alongside the great fashion, we have some really incredible beauty brands and I am really excited about working with Amanda Harrington (click this link for details on the set) who will be launching her multi-award winning sunless tanning brand in the 9am Morning Show with me this Friday 25th June. She has designed a collection that behaves like a tailored match for your complexion and with her special technique, she applies with a brush. Doing it this way really helps ensure that the contours of your body not only get covered but enhanced too! I’ll be adding photos on my Instagram of my experience using the brand.

Also next Tuesday 29th June at 9pm, I’ll be launching the brand new OPI six-piece Anniversary Nail Envy Collection and box (look for item number 243579). This is a world famous, multi award-winning nailcare brand that have been at the top of the tree for a very long time. So we are so excited to be celebrating their 40 years in the industry, but also 25 years with us at QVC.

The TSV is a limited edition for our QVC customer only, a silver circular box with beautiful blue ribbon containing six shades of their hero products from the Nail Envy collection. The colours are Bubble bath, Original, Matte, Hawaiian Orchid, Pink to Envy and Samoan Sand. This collection is especially great if you want to get that extra nail strength from your nail varnish, as they contain the original added strength of Nail Envy. Definitely one not to miss out on and I will be joined by the wonderful Daisie Smith. Tune in to Freeview 16 for all the girly fun.

Next week, I will also be sharing some other news both on QVC and on my social media which I’m very excited to share but more on that then. All I can say is stay tuned…

Until then take the very best of care of yourselves and each other.

Sending love,

Eilidh
