I hope my blog finds you well. What a lovely few weeks we’ve had, from the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations to the glorious weather. I hope you enjoyed the Jubilee weekend; there was so much positivity and and so many parties all around the country and QVC was no exception, but the offers and Today’s Special Values didn’t stop there.

Julien Macdonald brings us his beautiful set of two tall lotus flower candle holders as Today’s Special Value deal. Julien is an award-winning fashion designer, and his home range is a tribute to the iconic high-end fashion that he’s famed for.

The lotus flower is his most iconic crystal item and features a lovely faceted gorgeous design set on a smooth glass pillar, in a choice of two-colour options: Clear or Smoke. They also come presented in a luxurious gift box.

They give off a stunning sparkling effect when they catch the light and will look beautiful on your dining table, mantelpiece or wherever you choose to place them.

I thoroughly enjoy working with Julien on both his fashion and home shows; he’s so passionate about everything that he brings us.

I also loved working over the jubilee weekend as I discovered some little gems and treats that we have at QVC! Chocolate and cocktails with gin – I was in my element.

I wasn’t really a fan of gin but enter 6 O’Clock Gin.

I tasted the 6 O’Clock Gin Romy Gill Mango, Ginger & Lime Gin and those flavours were so mouth-watering, refreshing, and strong! I don’t know how I stayed sober enough the present the rest of the hour, I totally paced myself, ha. You either get it as part of the 6 O’Clock Gin set of 2 Summer Bundle or with Romy Gill’s cookbook.

I love chocolate buttons, so I was in my element to be able taste…well, it was more than just a taste…I ate so much of the Cocoba chocolate buttons in giant jars. These giant Belgian buttons were so delicious, with the smoothest texture and filled right up to the top of jar. I tried and loved each option available: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, salt chocolate and white chocolate.

Whilst presenting all these shows, we get to wear some fab clothing and shoes. You might have heard me say that I struggle with wearing bright colours confidently, but I am pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

A way that I like to do it is with accessories and footwear and how lovely are these Moda in Pelle Dinella Point Slingback Court Shoes?

I wore them recently for three hours on air and they are so comfortable, as well as super stylish. Nearly a year in at QVC, I have, and continue to learn so much about the wonderful brands, people and I’m learning so much about myself too.

It’s a brilliant journey and thank you for being part of it.

I hope my blog finds you well! Finally, the sun is out and hopefully, it stays. I hope you’ve enjoyed and managed to get some sun.

The glorious weather comes at a great time for our Nails Inc Today’s Special Value on 23rd May. Nails Inc is one of the UK’s highly sought after and fashion-forward nail care brands. They have fabulous colours and are always on-trend, offering luxurious treats for our nails! Our Today’s Special Value collection is ‘Hey Sunshine’ with some beautiful shades and a base coat.

The colours include ‘Holi-yay’, a lovely bright pinkish shade, ‘Feeling Beachy’, a lovely gold/nude shimmery shade, a cute peach called ‘Sip Sip Hooray’, ‘All Hands On Deck’ which is a pale pink, an off-white called ‘Always Making Waves’ and ‘Meet You At The Pool Side’, a lovely green colour. I love the fun sassy names the range has.

These beautiful colours are perfect for right now, as many of us want to show off our style with lovely fingers nails and toes with our summer footwear. If like me, you love black clothes, nails are a great way to experiment and bring in colour and this is a fab collection to try with.

Keeping on the sun theme, I presented an hour in our QVC garden. It was so hot, and I loved it – had a lovely fresh juice whilst working in the sun. However, I was cooled down so nicely when I went back inside by the Meaco Meacofan 1056 Air Circulator. It’s a fantastic design and ever so quiet as well as being energy efficient. The fan also has a handy easy-to-use remote control as well as a night light function. It’s so cool in more ways than one.

I loved being presenting outside and presenting some gardening shows too. I’m manifesting a nice house with a garden, so presenting these shows and seeing such pretty flowers is so inspiring. I loved the Plants2Gardens Runner Bean Collection as you grow the vegetable but also produce some pretty flowers. I can see why people love gardening, watching the journey, growth, and bloom of the plants and flowers. I can imagine it’s also quite therapeutic and relaxing. Nature is beautiful.

Within that show, I was blown away by the Home2Garden Easter Island Water Feature, I’d never seen anything like it, it was so soothing in the studio and gave off such a beautiful glow. It was so relaxing I could have fallen asleep but had to keep alert as was on air presenting haha.

Before, I head off, I want to share my favourite outfit of the week. I didn’t go for my safe black option in the gorgeous new Brazil Jersey Sleeveless Maxi Dress with back slit from Kim & Co. I went with the navy multi, with the Kim & Co Skinny Buckle Belt (I love a waist belt) and Ruth Langsford Wedge Sandals in orange, yes me in orange shoes! I’m doing so much better embracing colour!

On that note, I wish you a lovely bright sunny week ahead. I have a busy week at QVC, a party in Mayfair and just over a week until Annaliese’s wedding.  cannot wait, still deciding on which dress to wear.

I hope you’re all good. It’s been a busy but fun productive week for me. Mum has gone to Ghana until July, and you’d think she’d ease off ordering from QVC, but she still messages me almost daily asking what the TSV is!

I cannot believe it’s May! It’s a year since my audition with QVC, time has flown, and I’m thoroughly enjoying being part of an amazing team, finding my feet and still learning every day, every show and of course I love the clothes!

And speaking of clothes, I still can’t get over the fact that I presented shows with Julien Macdonald! He has designed clothes for some of my favourite celebrities and huge names. I feel so blessed to have shared the screen with him on QVC.

He brings us an amazing Today’s Special Value, Julien Macdonald Military Style Twill Jacket in in five great colours; White, Orange, Black, Fuchsia and Cobalt. Julien’s international designer star experience and energy is in all his pieces, extremely fashionable, timeless, and well made. The jacket is perfect for now and will serve well across all the season, definitely getting your money’s worth.

It will go great with what outfits you already in the wardrobe and even what I’m wearing in the photo with him, his Chiffon Overlay Top and Legging with Zip Ankle Detail. Julien’s passion for wanting every woman to look and feel fabulous is evident in this jacket.

If you wanted to really treat yourself also to some timeless beautiful jewellery, I presented my first hour of Premier Tanzanite and, oh my goodness, I was just blown away by those gorgeous pieces! Tanzanite is a real treat to anyone who has this magnificent gem. It is one of the rarest gemstones on the planet and only found in Tanzania. I presented so many gorgeous pieces and I naively thought the stones were all the same blue, but I got mesmerised with each piece and there was like a beautiful hue and dance of colours all unique in each stone. I felt very special and regal trying the stunning rings.

A fashion highlight from last week is from Frank Usher, I love the Animal Print & Gold Tone Foil Button Up Long Line Shirt, I wore it as a dress with a Kim & Co belt and Moda In Pelle Lizeth Knee High Boot. Such a stylish, fun outfit!

Let’s talk tech, I had my first tech TSV last week and loved it. I don’t know too much about tech or the latest gadgets and honestly a bit afraid of it all but how wrong was I?! The pieces we have are very straightforward and I ordered the Amazon Firestick at 1am when I got home after presenting the show. I can’t wait for it to arrive and upgrade my entertainment at home or wherever I take it. Honestly don’t know why I don’t already have this in my life! I’ll report back when I receive it and given it a go.

I hope you are doing well and had a lovely Easter; it was lovely and sunny for me and hopefully for you too. I had nice mix of work, cocktails, chocolate, and family over Easter.

Thank goodness the weather is warmer, but I still feel the cold with the lightest gust of wind! We always have lots happening at QVC and brilliant pieces always surprising and exciting me. I’m a fan of Marla Wynne and I’m loving the WynneLayers Chiffon Bomber – Today’s Special Value.

It’s a stylish modern take on the traditional bomber jacket available in five elegant colours. You can pick from black, seagrass, faded blue, soft lilac, or/and cloud. It’s a cool relaxed fit with front button fastening and two patch pockets. I love love love the drawstring fastening at the hemline too. This bomber is so ideal for right now! A great layering piece for our current weather. It’s on trend yet timeless, great chic chiffon fabric, and a great price. I personally find Marla’s clothes super flattering and comfortable!

Speaking of comfortable, I have an Emma Hybrid Mattress ‘Bed in Box!’ and, oh my goodness, it has transformed how comfortably I sleep! I have the smallest hallway (as you can in pic below) so the fact that it comes in a box is brilliant and so handy because, quite frankly, my hallway is a problem to get anything through. The delivery men were literally sweating trying to get my sofa in, haha!

I’m so impressed with myself as I put the mattress up alone. Although I did make the mistake of cutting the plastic to open the mattress on the floor and not on the bed frame but it wasn’t the end of world: I just pulled it onto it the frame and removed rest of plastic packaging. From delivery to me unboxing and putting it out was so straightforward and I absolutely love the mattress! I can’t stop telling anyone who’ll listen.

As I’m writing this, the weather is still lovely and earlier I was presenting from our QVC garden set and was so comfortable in the Innovators Holly Folding Cocoon Egg Chair. The rocking motion was so calming and relaxing, I couldn’t focus properly on my actual job – presenting the show! It’s such a lovely chair, well built, and comes in black, dark grey, latte and light grey. You also get the big cushion and head rest – it’s just so cosy. The chair is also collapsible, making it easy to store away.

One of the many things I love about QVC are the things we stock that would make my life easier like the gem I discovered of the Huggable Hangers. My wardrobe is a joke, always had dresses sliding off, tops dropping on the floor but now everything stays up; not necessarily tidy (my fault, not the hangers) but stays put, haha! There are different options and colours, but the main thing is that they keep your clothes on and save space thanks to the velvet nonslip design.

There’s so much more I want to share but I’ve got the prep for my shows which I hope you’ll be able to join me for.

I hope you’re keeping well! I’ve just come back from my amazing birthday in Ghana with Annaliese.

Not only was it great sun protection, but the mist was also really cooling in the heat. It was such an amazing holiday, we went to Boti Falls, and sat under the most magical waterfall, climbed huge rocks, went to a nature reserve and I saw some family.The most special person was my godfather, who I call grandad as he’s been like a grandad figure my whole life. He left England to go back to Ghana in 1996 and I’ve only seen him once since. He is the kindest, wisest man I know and I was so happy to see him.I literally landed home today and am looking forward to being back in the studio, I have some exciting shows to prep for, so I’ll be back with more in my next blog. Before I go, another piece of equipment that was sooooo handy while I was away was the portable Rush Charger! Everyone needs one or two in their lives if you own a mobile phone and we all probably do.

I hope you’re keeping well and warm! There’s always lots happening at QVC, new styles, new items, new people, you can never get bored, and I love it.

Keep a look out for our exciting fashion event, Reset Your Style, focusing on a fun practical way to wake up your wardrobe. The event will be packed with lovely pieces and tips from our amazing fashion experts and, of course, wonderful TSV’s. I’m trying to embrace and reset my style with more prints and love the Finery Kathy Spot Jumpsuit (item number 192038) that I wore on a recent show.

Skechers bring us a great Today’s Special Value on 21st February to put a spring in our step, with the Classic Go Walk Slip on Trainer (look out for item number 191585) and currently only available at QVC.

Famous for their Air Cooled Goga Mat insoles, you just know that your feet will be comfortable and supported, not forgetting how breathable they are. No laces, so no fuss putting them on, and I love the snake print trim around the top and matching lining – I have gone for the Black. There are also other colours in these lovely light trainers including Blue, Light Grey, Light Pink, Navy and Taupe.

The next day 22nd February, MarlaWynne’s Abstract Floral Drama Topper (look out for item number 192261) is the super stylish TSV.

Who doesn’t love a bit of drama? Well, the right kind, like this fab piece in a sweater knit fabric. I feel so elegant when I wear anything from Marla’s collection and this piece exudes elegance and sophistication. This gorgeous topper can be worn over anything to instantly elevate and finish an outfit off nicely. The bold jacquard pattern is eye-catching in a lovely way with a great addition of the handy patch pocket. It’s so versatile, it will be a winning, trans-seasonal and timeless piece.

Something that I hope isn’t timeless and thankful that it seems to be finally disappearing is my long Covid. I’ve not been totally honest about how bad it was affecting me, as new job and all that, but it’s been a real struggle.

I’ve had three lots of antibiotics, steroids for my cough and have three inhalers all since 13th December, which is when I had Covid. The cough and sore throat just lingered. I would be coughing and wheezing most nights, waking up exhausted. Simon Biagi saw me looking deflated in our dressing room area before our morning show and explained that I needed some vitamins as I needed to replace the good bacteria and just be kind to my body after all that medicine and Covid. He is so kind, knowledgeable, understanding and took the lion’s share of work on our show to help me and my throat out.

So, on Simon’s advice, prescription of vitamins and my next show, which happened to be about supplements, I learned so much. Simon had explained how good seaweed is for us and obviously madam here doesn’t like seaweed but enter Dr Craig Rose aka Doctor Seaweed.

I was only taking a tiny supermarket vitamin D tablet through the pandemic, which clearly isn’t enough. I thought I had nothing to lose by trying the Doctor Seaweed Weed & Wonderful Immunity Capsules (item number 721449). For some unknown reason, I was sceptical of supplements, probably just a lack of knowledge and maybe just didn’t think about them much before. I have taken the tablets for 9 days now and I’m honestly feeling like my real sparkle is coming back. I’m less exhausted and the violent night coughing lessened a few days into taking them. I’m not saying that these have cured the long Covid but have definitely been a good support in my body as I was probably so deficient in iodine and all the vitamins in the capsules. I am going to finish the pack and will share the results as I get through them.

I am taking a supermarket probiotic yogurt drink (don’t tell Simon. He says I need to up my game with a better strength probiotic) I’ve ordered Prime Fifty Gut & Immunity Omega 3 & Multi Nutrient Tablets (item number 718684) that I want to try after working with Dr Max Gowland. Although, I am younger than 50, I can still benefit from them, hopefully with the support of some supplements I will be an even better version of my pre Covid/long Covid self.

I thought I was on my beauty journey at QVC but seems now also a healthier lifestyle journey, but we still must treat ourselves and I did when I tried the yummiest pasty. The Chunk of Devon eight-piece Award Winning Steak Pasties (item number 809250) are just so tasty! The juiciest beef skirt, onion, swede, and potato all in that shortcrust pastry was simply delicious! My favourite lunch time show by far – Dale thank you for making it happen! I might order some for my mum, she loves a pasty!

I hope my blog finds you well. Happy February! We’ve made it through January, it’s been a rather exciting January for me at QVC, if we ignore my struggles with long Covid.

It’s still cold and jumper season, and we have a lovely Today’s Special Value going live at 9pm, 3rd February from WynneLayers – the Soft Knit colour block two-tone 3/4 sleeve stripped sweater (item number 192217). It’s a cosy loose fit with 57% viscose, 30% polyester and 13% nylon. A timeless sweater that you could pair with pretty much anything in your wardrobe. You could really take this jumper into the springtime for those cooler evenings.

Speaking of fashion, I had my first hour presenting with Dannii Minogue! She’s so lovely and, oh my gosh, stunning. Her Petites range is incredible, and also comes in regular and great sizes 6 – 22. We featured some lovely pieces in the hour. I wore her ‘Good Vibes’ T-shirt (item number 192204) and pull-on coloured twill jeans (item number 192041). I also love the high waisted pleated skirt (item number 187991) I’m holding in the top picture, it’s gorgeous.

Another highlight of January was having a beauty one-to-one with Alison Young on a Facebook live. I needed that so badly, because my skincare regime is shocking. I was removing my make-up with just soap and water and using baby lotion on my face to the horror of literally everyone at QVC!

Ali looked at my skin with no make-up on and discussed what I needed at this stage. Ali assessed that it was all about hydrating my skin now, as I’m wearing more make-up on the shows, air con and just life drying it out, which it was starting feel. Ali prescribed stepping up to Elemis Cleansing Micellar Water (item number 216347) and some hydrating creams from Tweak’d and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream.

It was so fascinating for me to learn the basics of skincare. You can catch it on our QVC Facebook page. We will do a part two to see my progress from my baby steps in the skincare regime world and look at hair care.

If you are wanting to treat your skin to some luxury, we have a fantastic Today’s Special Value 3^rd February from SBC Skincare, the Soothing Face, and Body Propolis five-piece collection (item number 245946). A real mixture of gorgeous smelling Moisturising Gels and Body Washes. The formulas are light, feel lovely on your skin and enriched with the finest natural ingredients. A great way to leave your skin feeling beautifully cleansed.

In a previous blog, I mentioned that was I excited that we have Hello Dame London Invisylash False Lash Set with Invisiglue (item number 725395), and I now have some. Below I’m wearing the same set for the 7th time! They are pretty, super reusable, lightweight and I love them.

The make-up around the lashes is the incredible Doll 10 five-piece TCE Luminous collection (item number 245945) in the shade Deep. Face, lips, eyes, cheeks sorted and you get a blusher brush, what a fabulous kit! I’m officially part of the #dollsquad.

I hope my blog finds you well! I’m finally getting my mojo back after suffering with the lingering effects of Covid and now even more so value the importance of good health and looking after ourselves!

I had a week off and just relaxed instead of running around town, just chilled and spent time with my mum, which was lovely, but I’m so excited to be back at work. We all need to relax and have that time to ourselves but where possible, do it in style! Kim & Co brings us a fabulous January 21st Today’s Special Value, her Wellness Contrast Piped Jogger (item number 191389) in four fabulous colours – Black, Navy, Olive, and Deep Camel.

The joggers are great for relaxing in but also great for dressing up and are as comfortable as they are stylish. They are so easy to wear with an elasticated waistband, tapered leg, gorgeously lightweight to the touch with 96% polyester and 4% elastane, plus a lovely drape. I personally really like the eye-catching piping detail down the side.

Keeping on the wellness theme, I have a new found respect for focusing and being kind to our minds and bodies after presenting and learning about our Aeropilates brand. It was a such a fun show with the guests and reading your reviews reinforced how important keeping active is, even if gently.

I was lucky enough to feature in our Revitalise Your Wellbeing shoot, you may have seen clips on the TV. Our fabulous stylists put together a lovely Skechers outfit for me; the Orchid Bloom High Waisted Legging (item number 190983) and they have sleek side pockets! We paired with the Orchid Bloom Zip Bra (item number 190982). I loved the look so much I wore it for the Aeropilates fitness show but with a black vest over the top. I’m really enjoying presenting the fitness shows, as I seem to really want to get involved and try everything.

I also really enjoy eating on the shows and was introduced to Easiyo yogurts, each flavour was so yummy, I couldn’t pick a favourite out of the 10-piece Yoghurt Selection (item number 817805). There are three options of Natural, Fruity and Greek with a mix of 10 sachets. The consistency was so moreish, and it really is a great way to elevate your breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. If I really had to pick a favourite, it would be the lemon (in the Greek option) because the fresh, tangy zesty kick was just perfect.

I hope you all rang in 2022 in style! Style for me was in my PJ’s, a bottle of prosecco, chocolates and watching the new season of Cobra Kai, it wasn’t out partying like years before. On New Year’s Day, I spent time with two of my four big brothers who I haven’t seen in a while, which was lovely.

2022 sounds so futuristic. When I was little, I thought by now there’d be flying cars and we’d all be able to fly to the moon as and when we wanted. Yes, I had quite the imagination.

However, not that far off for my 6-year-old nephew Zack, who loves his QVC Christmas present, Bell and Howell’s set of two Radical Racers Remote Control Cars (810792). His little sister loves it too, with my brother thankful that there are two cars as she wasn’t quite so sold on her gift, which wasn’t from QVC and in her words, she was too old for it as it says 3+ and she’s 4, not 3, ha ha.

I’m well back in swing of things at work and really enjoyed my first fitness focus shows. Obviously being me, I over-exerted myself trying to present, breath and work out trying to keep up with the guest and experts.

I really liked the Leg Master Slim (402824) by Fiona Summers. It’s a great at-home exerciser designed to target your legs, hips, glutes, abs, pelvic floor muscles and has an upper body attachment to help tone your arms too. Fiona was great to speak with on the show explaining all about it. It’s worth a try, easy to use and compact.

Our amazing Todays Special Value on 8^th January comes from the lovely Ruth Langsford’s range. It’s a Diamond Padded Jacket (191898). It’s very chic, stylish, and trans-seasonal. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and are keeping well! I was lucky enough to recover from Covid two days before, so was able to see family. I’ve really missed being at work and am delighted to be back on Boxing Day kicking off our Fashion Year End Sale!

It’s such a versatile piece that will complement all your favourite trousers, jeans, leggings, and skirts. It’s a great tunic to wear and nice layering piece. I always find side slits useful and fashionable. I really enjoy wearing Marla’s pieces, I feel like all sophisticated and lady like!

Speaking of colour, I can’t wait to wear this gorgeous Monsoon Safiya print pleated hanky skirt again. It has such a beautiful mix of colours and fits so well. Great for winter and I’ll definitely be wearing it in the warmer months too.

A little gem that I used while I was off isolating and feeling rubbish is Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Cleanser. I soaked two cotton wool pads and put them over my eyes using it as a compress, and it just felt so refreshing and gentle on my eyes. A lovely little revitalising pick me up.
