After being away for a while, I am back now at QVC for a few weeks and it’s great to be back with my QVC family. And a few exciting things I’d like to share with you.

Firstly, did you know its Beauty Month here at QVC, so keep your eyes peeled for great offers. I wanted to highlight one from Elemis – it’s called ‘A Celebration of Pro-Collagen’… watch this video where I ‘unbox’ the collection for you. Only thing to note – it’s a choice of either Original OR Rose (not both as I mistakenly thought!)

As per usual, I have been a busy bee and wanted to share three things with you this week.

Firstly, I was in Spain recently filming another episode of ‘A Place in the Sun’ and this time we were house hunting in La Zenia in south-east Spain – have you heard of it or perhaps visited it? I really enjoyed my time there and found the scenery and coastline so beautiful, and gosh, the property market there is certainly buoyant! I was filming with two lovely ladies Helen and Shelley, and the episode will go out later this year. I am really enjoying my role on the how and still pinch myself that I am getting to experience these wonderful places.

Talking of wonderful places, I was also in Copenhagen at the weekend – have you ever been? It was my first time in Denmark (and won’t be the last!) It was a belated birthday trip for my partner Paul and we both had the best time.

The architecture, the landscape and the wonderfully warm, open people. Denmark routinely comes out as one of the happiest countries in the world and I really felt a sense of that when I was there. I found people to be so polite, respectful and cheery.

The food and drink was amazing too, we had some really scrummy meals and snacks. And to top it all we were blessed with bright sunny weather, chilly but sunny, and it was as though the whole city had come out to greet us – and all in all it was a truly fantastic weekend!

And as I am back at QVC over the next couple of weeks, I wanted to share something I will be bringing you this Friday as the Today’s Special Value, which also happens to be the most awarded mattress in the UK – can you guess? The post Spain, Denmark and the power of sleep! appeared first on Stories.

I recently returned from filming two episodes of ‘A Place in the Sun’ in Abruzzo, Italy. It was an incredible experience being back in Italy and spending time on the Trabocchi Coast and in the countryside and mountains.

The coast gets its names from the unusual looking structures built around rocky areas which haul down nets to catch fish.

The weather was definitely ‘changeable’ going from sleet, snow, heavy rain and then to sunshine and clear blue skies. On one day, we left the coast in glorious sun then arrived to film in the mountains in thick snow – take a look at this video I took!

I am learning the main challenge when working away is trying to eat healthily. Just take a look at some of the pastries on the breakfast buffet – in Italy cake at breakfast is a big thing but not good for my willpower or my blood sugar!

I am also learning what skincare is good to have with me on my travels and here are my current favourites:

The Elemis Beauty pick of the Month Serenity Cleansing Balm. I love that, as well as taking off make-up, it will also be wonderful to add to a bath or shower to cleanse the body after a busy day of filming.

The Clinique Supersize of the Month All about Eyes eye cream. I find hours spent travelling and long filming days leave my eyes puffy and tired, so looking forward to trying this.

The Sea Magic Mineral Mist. I am going to decant some of this into a smaller bottle to take on the plane to keep refreshed and hydrated, as my skin gets so dry, particularly with wearing the mask.

I thought you might like to try some of these suggestions too, even if just to help your skin day to day.

I am headed off again next week to Spain and then will be back for shows on QVC on 5th April and a special day of gardening on 10th April, so look forward to seeing you then.

I returned back from filming in Lanzarote on the weekend and to be honest I was expecting all the flights to be cancelled. I think I got lucky with the timing of my flight, which seemed to miss the worst of the storms across the south of England. The filming went really well and I am looking forward to you seeing the episode later in the year. If you ever wondered what a day of travel that starts at 4am looks like, have a look at this Instagram reel I made.

So, now I am back and have a busy week ahead at QVC and wanted to share two great beauty offers that I thought you might like to help soothe away some of the turbulence of winter.

Firstly, this Wednesday, QVC have a great offer on a Neom 4-piece “Daily Ritual’ collection – I am a huge fan of Neom and had been using the range before it came to QVC. Just a quick blog from me this week to let you know a few things:

Firstly, keep a look out for the Skechers celebrations happening soon at QVC. It’s almost 10 years of the brand having full hour shows at QVC and there is lots to look forward to. I took a picture in the gym recently of me wearing my Skechers from the Dynamight range, really bouncy and comfy! I have been wearing Skechers for years and I am sure they are helping me reach my daily steps goal at the moment.

This Friday at 10am, I have my first show of the year with gardening expert Mark Lane; I really enjoy working with Mark, so do tune in for expert advice and do have a listen to episode 42 of the ‘Inside QVC’ podcast when he chatted to Will Gowing.

Talking of staying warm, I am delighted to be hosting a very special Cozee Home show next Wednesday 25th January – a special show, as it’s celebrating 10 years of Cozzee Home on QVC, and to celebrate this, we are having a two-hour show and Will Gowing will be there to take your messages on social media too.

I am really looking forward to it as I have quite a few pieces of Cozee Home myself, including this beloved heated blanket. 5 – 7pm on Wednesday 26th January – definitely a date for your diary!

Finally, I am doing a bit of a health and fitness kickstart at the moment; last Saturday marked 4 weeks until I am back out on the road filming ‘A Place in the Sun’ so I thought it was a good issue to try and lose a few pounds from the winter and crank up the exercise a bit. You can follow my progress over the weeks on my instagram page @craigrowetv, where I am sharing progress on my ‘Stories’ there. One things that is really helping is using bath salts from Sea Magik, a range I’ve been using for years and am delighted to say is now at QVC!

I take a soak in the bath salts after a busy day at work or a workout and find them so soothing. I hadn’t realised they also do beautiful skincare too, and I have really been enjoying using their face oil. The post My four-week Kickstarter, tech and a special anniversary! appeared first on Stories.

I do hope you had a good festive season? Mine was wonderful – I was working at QVC over most of the Christmas holiday but I did get to Bristol for a quick visit to see my family, which was pure joy after not being able to last year. Then I was off at New Year and spent it dancing and drinking cocktails (too many cocktails!) with friends.

I will be back at QVC this Thursday 6th January and wanted to let you know that I have a fashion sale show on QVC Style and a 6pm Kelly Hoppen Sale show. I love Kelly’s range, so always good to get a bargain!

Then on Saturday and Sunday, I will be hosting shows with Michael Perry, as QVC gardening gets back into full swing for the new season. I am really looking forward to be working with Michael again – we always have really busy and fun shows and his endless knowledge of gardening never fails to amaze me!

Then away from QVC, this Friday marks the beginning of a new journey for me as I join the team of property experts of Channels 4’s ‘A Place in the Sun’. After secretly filming in Spain, France and Barbados over the late summer and autumn of last year, the episodes will start to go out and hopefully bring some much needed sunshine into our lives over these gloomy months. As you can imagine, I am so excited to be working on this show. I have been watching it for years and as someone who has always loved travel and renovated several properties myself, it’s the dream project to be working on! Don’t worry though, I will be remaining part of the QVC family.

In my first espisode, I will be househunting with newlyweds Gabriel and Alison for a holiday home in Denia; I’ve shared a couple of ‘behind the scenes’ photos and an instagram reel of the moment we finished filming on the Denial harbour.

The show airs at 3pm Friday 7th January on Channel 4 or you can watch it after it airs on the All 4 catch up service online – hope you enjoy it!

I am currently laid up with a cold, but confident that I will be all recovered in time for my shows at QVC this coming weekend and big Today’s Special Values.

On Saturday night at 9pm, I will be launching the final big Shark offer of the year. Always excited to work with this brand, and I’ll be showing you the Shark Duo Clean Corded Vacuum with the famous Anti Hair Wrap technology and ‘Flexology’, meaning that it’s easy to get into difficult cleaning spots and to store when it’s not in use.

I’ve not been at QVC for a few weeks as I have been away using up some leave and doing some travel. I was actually supposed to be back for a week in early September but after a positive Covid test after travel I had to isolate for 10 days. Luckily I had no symptoms whatsoever for which I felt very lucky/grateful/blessed!

Whilst I was away it was my birthday, and the group I was with organised a lovely cake, the restaurant had a band that sang ‘Happy Birthday’ in Spanish, and I had a really lovely day and evening.

Just before I went away I was able to spend some time with Paul and visit the Bermondsey Street Festival, an annual festival in the area I live which is always great fun. You can see us in the main stage area enjoying (or not!) the heavy metal band (rather a strange choice for a summer festival but nonetheless….)

I will back at QVC on Monday 4th October, and I’m really excited to be back on the day we have a great offer on the Theragun Mini. I have not been able to try it since I’ve not been there, but I love my full size Theragun, its so great for easing tension all over the body and I particularly love it if I am feeling a bit stiff after exercise or simply feeling a bit tense. I also use it on my feet after standing a lot and on my forearms after hours of typing on a keyboard. Here’s some photos of me using mine, its not the same model but you get the idea of it and the Mini will be even more agile and portable!

I have other wonderful shows the week I am back, including Kipling at 11am on Monday (I’ve decided I need a Kipling bag with good organisation after a major panic in the airport thinking I’d lost all my documents!), three hours of fashion for the Fashion Event on Tuesday 5th and Christmas-inspired shows on Thursday 7th.

Finally, have you tired the Skinsense range at QVC? I’m a fan of the Hydranet Collection from Skinsense and have been using it whilst I have been away. The leave-on mask is great after travel, less sleep or being in the sun and has really given my skin a boost. You can see me using it here, and yes it looks patchy but that’s the product sinking into the my skin where it needs it most!
