Hello, hope you’re keeping well.

It’s been a while since my last blog. I’ve been off with my knee which has been playing up for sometime. But things are looking good, and hopefully I’ll be back on the court playing tennis soon. Speaking of which, I’m loving Wimbledon fortnight but I was saddened to see Federer isn’t taking part this year. I’m a huge fan and I was really fortunate to watch him play at Wimbledon on centre court a few years ago. Such a privilege to see.

So, I’m back at Q and my first show was Charlie Bears followed by an hour of WynneLayers. We had a blast in the Charlie show and there was one particular character that really grabbed my attention! Little Shadow is simply fabulous. The ears, the tail, the markings, the nose – love him! Also, it was great to be on with Melissa and the WynneLayers show. Melissa’s knowledge is never ending and I learn so much.

As ever, plenty to look forward to and I’m launching the Northern Nights Today’s Special Value offer this coming Monday the 4th July at 9pm, then again at midnight to take us into Tuesday. It’s the PUR Feather Ultimate Comfort Extra Deep Featherbed. And it sounds heavenly doesn’t it. Comprising of two layers, one of which is micro-feather, the other is PUR feather, to bring you a cradling cloud-like experience. And what’s so brilliant, as ever with QVC, is you have a 60 day (or should I say night!) money-back guarantee. We’ll explain more at launch and of course you can keep an eye out for it online too.

The very next day we have the Kuhn Rikon Today’s Special Value offer, which I’m also launching. Busy times ahead. In the meantime, time for more strawberries and a spot more tennis!

See you soon and take care,

Charlie 🙂

Hello,

I can’t quite believe where the months are disappearing to? Crazy! I’ve had some wonderful shows of late at QVC. Gardening, fashion, to name just a few. Then of course there’s footwear and beauty as well. It’s an extensive list!

Patrick takes care of Quacker Factory Fashion and also steps in to present other fashions shows and brands too. He’s wonderful to be on-air with and I often come away having learnt something new!

Gardening is in full swing at QVC and I recently took delivery of another selection from Plants2Gardens. Beautifully packaged and I can’t wait for them to flower in the summer. Richard Jackson is also keeping us busy with his extensive range too.

You’re probably aware of the many ways to shop with QVC. It all started with a phone line many years ago, which of course is still there to use, on 0800 50 40 30. There’s Q-Cut as well, plus our website, and of course the app too. But, in recent times, you’ve possibly noticed the QR code that appears on your TV screen in the bottom corner. It’s a strange looking box made up of a series of tiny ‘squared’ dots. Well, the QR Code is a brilliantly fast and easy way to order the current ‘on air’ item.

Simply open up the camera on your smart device, it could be a tablet or smartphone, and point it at the TV screen. This is me, from my sofa, 2 metres away from the TV. I simply zoomed in on the QR Code and then tapped on the link. And, that’s when magic happens! It will take you to the product page, on our website, of the current ‘on air’ item. It’s brilliantly simple and easy to use. Really worth a try. I like the fact I didn’t need to get too near to the TV. Simply zooming in with the camera and focusing on the QR Code did the trick. You will need an internet connection, of course.

Happy shopping with QVC – with some very clever technology!

Charlie 🙂

Hello,

I hope this blog finds you well and you haven’t overindulged on the Easter chocolate too much! I’ve actually been pretty well behaved… well, sort of!

QVC has excelled in cleaning products for many many years now. And, for me, there’s one brand in particular which I’ve always championed on air. Ecozone. It’s a very special range and has been with QVC for sometime. And, we’ve a fantastic Today’s Special Value launching on Tuesday 26th April at 9pm and featuring throughout Wednesday. It really is one to watch out for.

I’ve been given a sample to try. And, I’m loving it! It’s the Ecozone Home Cleaning Kit. This is a bumper pack featuring the Magic Stain Eraser, the Tough Degreaser Kitchen Cleaner, the Enzymatic Drain Cleaning Sticks, the Washing Machine & Dishwasher Cleaner, and the Appliance Descaler. It’s a brilliant selection and I’ve already had some great success. But also, what really strikes me about this collection is that on the back of each item you’ll see it’s both Vegan and Cruelty Free. I know this means so much, to so many of us, more than ever.

I’m about to use one of the Drain Cleaning Sticks. They’re really clever and help to break down organic matter (like food) that could lead to blockages and bad smells. Then there’s the Washing Machine & Dishwasher Cleaner. This was named as one of the best eco-friendly cleaning products that ‘really work’ by the Express Newspaper in 2021. The Degreaser Kitchen Cleaner is a dream to use and the citrus fragrance is such a refreshing change compared to some of the others I’ve tried.

Then, there’s the Magic Stain Eraser! Good to test on an inconspicuous area first and then, when you’re happy, see some amazing befores and afters. The trim on my trainers (pictured at the top)  are coming up a treat and the bottom of my UPVC door (above) is looking so bright now. Although, I now need to do the rest of my trainers and the rest of my door!

It’s a fantastic TSV and of course fully backed by our brilliant 60 day money back guarantee.

See you soon!

Charlie

Hello!

Well, I’ve just had the last week or so off work and I slept a huge amount. That, coupled with a little bit of DIY, some gardening and catching up on TV. I love seeing the reruns of Repair Shop. It’s a great way to escape and see amazingly talented craftspeople at work, and it reminds me of my days as an upholsterer… some thirty years ago! They were great times, to be taught how to transform, repair and put life back into furniture was so rewarding and a privilege.

You may have caught me on air before my break, spending most of my time seated, as my left knee has been giving me some trouble. Thankfully, it’s feeling a little better now and I’m moving more freely.

So, my first day back was on Monday and one of my shows was a Christmas hour! That’s right, Christmas, in the month of March! It was really fun and the hour was packed with Clearance prices. My mum caught the show and loved the Christmas Tree Tiered Cake Stand. Well, how could I resist – so I’ve placed my order and have arranged for it to be sent to Mum. She’s really excited, and it’s fantastically reduced in price, too.

And what a fabulous weekend we have ahead of us at Q. I’m really looking forward to our Gardening Event this Saturday, when I’ll be on air from 2pm with an hour of the brilliant Plants2Gardens. Then, on Sunday the 3rd, we’re bringing you a fabulous Elemis Today’s Special Value offer. Once again, it’s a fantastic collection.

Although it doesn’t go to air until 9pm this Saturday evening, it’s available to order right away – all the details are here. I’ve been handed a sample to try out and I can’t wait to get started. I’m on air this Sunday as well with an Elemis show at 5pm – so I’ll let you know how I get on. I know it’ll be wonderful for sure. There are two options to choose from, and the Today’s Special Value offer features the brand-new Pro-Collagen Morning Matrix.

I can’t quite believe April is upon us. The days are already lighter for longer and warm weather is on the horizon, surely!

Stay safe and well and hopefully see you on air soon.

Hello!

It’s been a super busy few days at QVC for me. I’ve really enjoyed all my shows, having been to air with Richard Jackson and his gardening Pick of the Month, followed soon after by his bird feed.

Also, on air with Neom, Elemis, Alison Cork and then an hour of Skechers with Evey. Non stop!

So, the month of March is here, and this month QVC is celebrating inspirational women with a whole host of fabulous guests, shows and products. Plus, of course, International Women’s Day itself on the 8th. It’s a really wonderful event in store for you. And we’ve got a very special Today’s Special Value offer that day from K by Kelly Hoppen. It’s the gorgeous K by Kelly Hoppen Geo Jaquard 100% Cotton 6 Piece Duvet Set, which I’m trying out. Heavenly!

Other shows to watch out for this day include WynneLayers, At Home with Alison Cork, Escape by Melissa Odabash and Charlie Bears!

It’s set to be a great day, tune in if you can, and of course plenty can be found through our app and website.

You may have heard this week, the very sad news of the passing of Tova. I, like many, have the most wonderful memories to cherish. We had many a magical show together during which Tova told the most fantastic stories of her life with Ernie and Hollywood. We will all miss her dearly and our thoughts are with her family, friends and all those who knew and loved her.

Do take care and I’ll see you soon.

Charlie x

This month, we’re also celebrating Inspirational Women’s Month and welcome you to take a look at the many fantastic, female-founded and led fashion brands we are proud to partner with here.

Hello!

I hope this blog finds you safe and well. It’s been a really tough week with so much of the UK being hit hard by the weather. Some of the stories covered have been heartbreaking. We were very fortunate at home – other than a minor fence repair we managed to avoid any damage. These last few days have reminded me of the storm of 1987. I’ll never forget the devastation we woke up to that morning. If these storms have affected you in any way, I’m sending all my thoughts and warmest wishes to you.

So, I’ve been off work this last week. Stayed safe, at home, doing very little actually, which has been nice. During my time off though, the new carpets finally went down. And whilst tidying, sorting and putting back furniture it was a huge trip down memory lane for me.

I found my very first computer Mum and Dad bought me – my Sinclair Spectrum, 16k. Games included Hungry Horace and Jet Pack. I also found one of my favourite toys – this transformer (Robots in Disguise!) is 40 years old.

I love this car. It holds so many precious memories. I’d spend hours building cities and ramps out of old bits of cardboard and left-over cereal packets. And, when not doing that, I’d be out on my blue and yellow Raleigh BMX with Skyway Three Wheels! I loved that bike and regret to this day selling it in a garage sale when we moved home.

But, right back into present times now. And, what a busy time we’re having at QVC. I’ve loved our Reset Your Style Fashion Event. So many great shows were enjoyed. I’ve had some wonderful shows this week too, including being on-air with Marie-Francoise and Kipling. I also had a fun hour on air with Imogen and Joules fashion.

Browsing our schedule, there lots to look forward to. More fabulous Today’s Special Values to watch out for. And, something I know many are going to be tuning in for is the Theragun Elite Massage Gun. Can’t wait to see this on-air and learn all about it.

In the meantime, take care and I’ll see you back on air very soon.

Hello!

So February is upon us and I hope this blog finds you safe and well.

Lovely to see the evenings are starting to get lighter. I don’t know about you, but I’m really looking forward to spring and summer this year. I love winter and the cold crisp winter mornings, but I’m ready for warm sunshine now.

I write this week’s blog from my kitchen table. I’ve just had to lift down one of my dogs from the table who decided this was the best place to take a nap this morning. I was on the hunt for a few biscuits to have with my green tea as I write this, but I can’t find any (think they’ve been hidden from me…) However, I’ve found some chocolate which is making a very tasty substitute!

It’s been a really busy weekend at QVC. We enjoyed some fabulous gardening shows, with beautiful lighting, water features and of course plenty of plants too. Our site is always worth a browse for stunning plants and flowers, and of course keep a close eye for upcoming Today’s Special Value offers for your garden too.

I enjoyed other wonderful shows recently including two hours of L’Occitane last week. I was really hoping I’d get to keep the bicycle. I kept asking, but it seems it’s been put away safely… not sure where? I also had a great time on air with Patrick for a couple of hours of fashion.

I have a few days off coming up and it’s all a bit upside down at home at the moment. We were planning to have new carpets fitted a few years ago, but the pandemic put all of that on hold for us. Well, the time has finally come and the carpets are going down. I’m clearing stuff from under the beds and finding stuff I never knew we owned. It was a good opportunity to have a thorough clear out with lots of trips to the dump and recycling depot, as well as plenty to our local charity shops, too.

Lots to look forward to at Q. There’s always plenty to discover via our homepage and we have brilliant Today’s Special Values on the way too. One to watch out for is this coming Sunday 13th Feb. It’s another superb Elemis offer with a five-piece collection.

I’ll be watching from home, doing my best to ensure the new carpets don’t have too many doggy paw-prints on them!

Stay safe and well and I’ll see you on air soon.

Hello!

It’s my first blog of 2022, so Happy New Year to you!

As I write this we’re halfway through the month already. QVC was so busy with the lead up to Christmas and the New Year has been nonstop as well.

I’ve already placed a number of orders at Q, including some plants from the fabulous Plants2Gardens range and a birthday present for my mum, too. My mum loves a hot water bottle and I couldn’t resist adding to her collection with this Hot Water Bottle from Cozee Home. It’s available in the grey Bailey colour or the foxy red Baxter colour.

Mum has always adored foxes, in fact, we all do, and she’s lucky enough to have one visit her garden most nights. Mum’s birthday isn’t for a while but she doesn’t do ‘tech’, so she won’t hear about if from my blog. I can’t wait to give it to her!

So, it’s been a busy start to 2022 and I’ve presented a whole host of wonderful shows so far. One of the most memorable being a couple of hours of Lola Rose with Anna last week. Not only was it memorable because it’s simply a fabulous range of jewellery with bags of colour and personality; but there was another reason too. Anna was chatting away, when suddenly she realised I was smiling and laughing…

This is why. I suddenly noticed my shoes didn’t match! Thankfully, many viewers came to my aid and we soon learnt it’s more common than we thought! I have been known to wear odd socks, and on occasion I’ve grabbed the wrong jacket when wearing a suit, but odd shoes is a first! It made us laugh, and in truth we really needed it that day.

QVC UK on Twitter: “He’s at it again, expanding his #blooper showreel. Have you ever left the house with two different pairs of shoes or is that just @mecharliebrook? pic.twitter.com/fINqVKstME / Twitter”

He’s at it again, expanding his #blooper showreel. Have you ever left the house with two different pairs of shoes or is that just @mecharliebrook? pic.twitter.com/fINqVKstME

Browsing our schedule, we have lots to look forward to at Q. When you get a second, our homepage is always worth a visit to keep up to date. And I see Davina is on air this Saturday with a brilliant Today’s Special Value offer. I’m off this weekend, but I’ll be tuning in for sure.

Right, I’m off to pair up my shoes and socks and I’ll see you back on air very soon!

Take care,

Charlie x

Hello, I hope my last blog before Christmas finds you safe and well.

Christmas – it seems to have arrived quicker than ever this year! And for the first time, I’m properly prepared (most unlike me!) I have got better over the years, but as I write this I’ve just got a few presents left to wrap, otherwise everything is pretty much done. Phew!

I enjoy a quiet Christmas with a few mince pies, a lovely walk with my dogs, and as many board games as possible. And of course, a Christmas cracker without the snap, as my dogs hate them. New Year is always a nice quiet one, but these days I dread midnight as the relentless fireworks terrify one of my dogs in particular. You can probably sense, I’m not a fan of fireworks now that I’ve seen how much stress they can cause. And it’s not just animals, but I know many people struggle with them as well.

I have a few days at work before I hang up my Christmas stocking. There are some fabulous Today’s Special Value offers to keep an eye out for. They won’t be with you in time for Christmas, but it’s nice to have something to look forward to.

On Christmas Eve Eve (Thursday 23rd, in other words), I’ll be launching the Cozee Home Juno Soft Twist Shaggy Rug Today’s Special Value at 9pm, which will then be on again the next day, Christmas Eve. Then of course, it’s Christmas Day. And yes, we have a TSV that day too. It’s the brilliant Cook’s Essentials 2.8L Touch Screen Air Fryer.

So, as ever, plenty to look forward to no matter the day with QVC. Plus, your order is always backed with our 60 day money-back guarantee.

Christmas is finally here! Whatever your plans, I wish you a magical time plus a wonderful and safe new year too!

But I’d especially like to send warmth, my thoughts and well wishes to those who really struggle at this time of the year. I know for many Christmas is a really tough time, and for so many different reasons too. I’ve seen first hand how much of a struggle Christmas can be for some. Please know, I’m thinking of you during these difficult times.

Take care, stay safe, and I’ll see you back on air soon very soon.

Hello!

Well, we’re well into December and I’m loving all the festive shows at QVC. We have fun all year round, but there’s an extra sprinkling of magic in the air when we reach December at Q!

Let me start with a thank you and a small confession. Our wonderful guest and dear friend at QVC, Gill Gauntlet, very kindly gave me a chocolate advent calendar last week. So, a big thank you to Gill. It was totally unexpected and I’m so grateful. The small confession is, by day seven I have now eaten all 24 days! What can I say, the little doors were begging to be opened, honestly. So tasty!

I’ve enjoyed a few days off work, chilling and relaxing and watching lots of TV. I ploughed through the last five episodes of Money Heist on Netflix. I almost completed it in one sitting, except for a brief pause for the take away delivery. It was a perfect Friday night in.

We have some perfect days and evenings ahead with QVC, too.

This Saturday 11th December sees the Amazon Today’s Special Value Offer go to air (launching the night before at 9pm). It’s the all-new Fire HD10 Tablet 10.1″, with a 32GB SD card, and, also included, a Caseable voucher. We’re all really excited about this fantastic Today’s Special Value. I’m really hoping it lasts the day and is there to feature in my Saturday show at 5pm.

Before my hour of tech, though, I’m thrilled to be on air with JM by Julien Macdonald Fashion at 3pm.

So, plenty to watch out for and look forward to with QVC. As always, everything you order from QVC, whether it be Fashion, Food, DIY, Tech, Jewellery or Beauty, is covered by our 60-day money back guarantee.

Remember to visit our home page to see the speedy links to the likes of the Big Deals as well.

Something I was on air with recently which I think will make a brilliant gift is the iBeani iPad, Tablet and eReader Bean Bag. Such a clever but simple idea and so useful. I’ve been trying it out over the last few days and wouldn’t be without it now.

Ok, time to sign off. I’m writing this from my kitchen and I’ve just noticed a very lonely mince pie, sat all by itself on the kitchen counter. Not sure whose it is, no doubt another confession I’ll be making tomorrow 🙂

Take care,

Charlie x
